Aza
it depends how long you cache histories... best way to speed up the comp and free up a whad of memory is disk cleanup, which deletes temporary internet files.
Max Kane
Temporary net files are buggers, they take up so much space, i use East Tec which clears everything, unfortunately it means i have to re-log into all my accounts & msn boards though

However l've noticed that l haven't had to re-log in for over a year now and l'm always deleting these files. Very strange. Wonder why that is. :? Max Kane
I never have any problem with logins etc unless i use the east tec eraser, it takes away everything temporary and internet related, minus favourites which are still there for me when i use the net again. It does help speed up my pc a lot and frees up lots of space for me to record my mixes which obviously takes up a lot of memory.
Aza
You will only have to re log in I believe if you delete your cookies... Cookies are tracking files. Deleting your temp history just clears your cache of visited sites etc.

Quadrant
Such erasing programs are useful for pornography searchers, but if you really dont want PC World or even the Police to see what type of images you've been browsing (for example, some Monet thumbnails at The National Gallery website) then you should encrypt them. As i previously stated i use the program as it frees up so much space for recording and downloading, it clears stuff that manually clearing cannot clear without a lenghty trek thru windows explorer. Have run the program today and then freed up an extra 2hrs of recording space for me on my hard-drive.
