Spin Doctor Posted December 31, 2024 Report Posted December 31, 2024 The final few hours of the year remain so I will continue my tradition of posting on New Year's Eve. Since 2024 thread, thanks to our collective efforts we have had a good selection of new audio to enjoy. I have plenty more tapes from @nick_tierney to go and I aim to get another few uploaded over the holiday. This year has been non-existent for my DJ or producing output, or indeed any trips out to see some good DJs. I will have to correct this next year. With an early house move to contend with and change of jobs this will be diffiult but some time behind the decks will offer a stress release. Respect to all the regulars, welcome to our new members and a look forward to your successes in 2025.
breadbin Posted January 1 Report Posted January 1 Happy new year, good luck the house move and change of job 👍
nick_tierney Posted January 3 Report Posted January 3 Happy New Year! Looking forward to hearing the results of your hard work🙂 I’m off to Restricted Forest festival in June I think… Chances are few and far between!! My decks haven’t been out since Halloween 2014 😢 Do you want me to check my other cassettes, see if there’s any that the site may be missing/ you may be interested in? I always listen to sets off the Archive when I go running- they keep my pace up!!! Nick
Spin Doctor Posted January 5 Author Report Posted January 5 Let's see how much progress I make with your remaining cassettes first. I am aming to record another tomorrow.
Spin Doctor Posted January 6 Author Report Posted January 6 As a statement of intent, and to help beat the January blues there are now two recordings awaiting moderation:
Aza Posted January 7 Report Posted January 7 Good to hear from you, Spin Doctor - and nice to see other members chiming in Lots of us here prob still hold that special place in our hearts from all the memories of Jules from back in the day. Even though I've ventured in the Progressive House & Techno genres years ago, Trance has always been my fondest musical genre. And for that, I, like a lot here, have Jules to thank for that. And it's great to see this space still lives on... I still put together sets where I can, and over the holidays I went back to pay homage to Jules - mixing a lot of the tunes that got me hooked. I've posted that over in the Members Audio section to compliment all collective efforts with some new audio to enjoy. Best wishes to all 👍
