bigsteve
Just read the interview with Armin and he does genuinely sound like a top bloke. Also good news that ASOT is coming to UK radio too  8-) Also it was good to hear that he too prefers vinyl and switched because of the time it takes a tune to come out on vinyl. My sentiments exactly...
JasonB
Theres a few labels out there taht have stopped vinyl altoghetehr such as Five Am as its easier to keep with the release schedule, a shame but I myself moving away from vinyl big time new choonage purchase wise even though I stil love vinyl, its efficiency really. Briggsy
Armin is a top bloke to be fair. he was very friendly, knowledgable and you can clearly tell he loves his job. I've never met anyone so enthusiastic. Even when I finished the interview, he showed an interest in my website, gave me his email address and asked me to keep in touch, told me about a few other things in the pipelene that he wasn't able to tell me in the interview. Overall, a top bloke and one of the genuine good guys in the industry.

Briggsy
I interviewed Armin at 10pm. When I saw him I said "Have you got time for a quick interview please?", he said "Sure - take as long as you like - i've got until Midnight". The daft thing is, he actually seemed like he was serious when he said it  He already said he was up for a 10 hour set. So, a 10 hour set and a 2 hour interview it is at Global next year Armin? LOL!

Briggsy
No change there! I was supposed to have an interview with him too, but he cancelled all interviews because "he was only just going to arrive in time for his gig". Yeah right! And we've not heard that one before.........

Briggsy
Good work Briggsy, it must have been an honour! He does sound a top bloke. A true music lover. It was indeed mate. Armin was a very genuine bloke that couldn't be more enthusiastic about his job. He was talking to me before the interview about music, DJ'ing, etc, then he did the interview, and then he continued to talk to me afterwards about my website, my DJ'ing, etc - he genuinely seemed interested and gave me his email address to keep him informed of my site, etc. He wished me luck with it and genuinely seemed to care. I was quite surprised. I never thought someone of Armin's stature would be so interested in what a small-fry unknown DJ like me does. It really was just like talking to some bloke down the pub. IMO, he sets a perfect example to some of the ego's in the industry. It just shows that money doesn't always go to everyone's head. Jules was also a pleasure to speak to aswell. Funny, friendly and down to earth. It was a great honour to interview and chat with them both, and it'll certainly go down as one of the most memorable days of my life.
