Ducky
Dont get me wrong i really do like Jules but i really do think he is starting to play to many Bootlegs/Mash ups. This is nothing against you KS or the people who make them as some of them really are good.
KSheehan
this the cirez d one mate? yea its the cirez D one, its absolutely AWFUL.. I dont mean to sound like a know-it-all or anything but it just DOESNT FIT and is clearly just made on his belt drive turntables.. I do agree with you Ducky, he's playing too many mashups alright, and this new piece of tripe just re-inforces dormouses point last week that anyone can now make a bootleg and jules will play it...
Briggsy
I wouldn't go as far as saying it was made on belt drives. The whole thing was put together OK, but the combination of tunes just didn't work. There was a clear difference in key between Genetic and the Valentino Kanzyani track, and the whole thing just didn't work at all. The thing is, although it doesn't work, I can imagine it getting a reception in a club - unlike some of the other bootlegs Jules plays, so I dare say thats why he's playing it. At least he stayed clear of the Star 69/Red,Blue, Purple bootleg this week - that was one of the worst i've heard Jules play, ever!
KSheehan
it was cirez d not valentino... ITS SHOCKING! TO ME it does jus sound like it was made on turntables doh and i cant imagine it getten much of a reaction in a club tbh... oh well.. the marco v thing sounds 10times better than this lol
bigsteve
Continuing reasons for NOT listening to Jules...
JasonB
One of few reasons, this week was good imo.
Briggsy
Yeah, quite a good show this week. Even the funky section was quite good too!
dormouse
I won't repeat my point last week. When I was out with him Wednesday night in Northampton, he played this bootleg of Fire Wire with that "I am the god of hellfire!" track from the 60s.... Cheesy as F**k but awesome crowd reaction. He said he was debating whether to play it on the radio. I just laughed.

Chrissie Brown
He played Cosmic Gate "Firewire" when l saw him at Tranzation in Truro back in April but l can't remember if he played the bootleg version or not. Anyway the crowd went mental when he played it and have to say it was the tune that got everyone dancing.
Briggsy
Firewire is the worst Cosmic Gate tune ever, but sadly the only that made them famous. Its cheesy as hell and must have taken 5 minutes to produce. I've no idea what people see in it. Incidentally, Earth Mover, that Jules is currently supporting is awesome! Chrissie Brown
I really like the "Earth Mover" tune too. "Firewire" has never been a favourite of mine but even so I don't think of it as being cheesy.
Aza
Firewire is the worst Cosmic Gate tune ever This could be said. But no doubt, it was just to put them on the map. So many people tend to do it & look where they are now. Picotto's - Komodo PVD - For An Angel (although this is ace - it was commercialised) Even Jules with Hi-Gate - Pitchin' However, the Scot Project rmx of FireWire is awesome... Briggsy
Pitchin' was ace though. When that bassline starts to rumble in over a loud system, it sounds awesome!
Quadrant
Come on everybody, you have short memories! Jules has always been famous for airing absolutely amazing tracks and then throwing in one track that really is just unfathomably awful... he's always done that. Surely he deserves credit for always trying to mix it up a bit?
Briggsy
Noooooooo, he should mix it up with lots of incredibly good tunes......
thirddrive
just re-inforces dormouses point last week that anyone can now make a bootleg and jules will play it... Bah he never played any of mine lol! But i'll get over it!
