TheSaint
saw it last friday - gave it a 6/10 just like Ali G - IndaHouse. A collection of funny moments painfully, reluctantly and forcefully sewn together to make a film. Note 'funny moments'. There were plenty but i dont think it works in a film. Sorry peeps, this is a "wait for the DVD" film. IMHO. 8-)
Quadrant
TheSaint you are right in that it has been "sewn together" to make a film, but it is exactly because of the nature of what the film is meant o be about that he can get away with it. There's such a diverse array of moments - most of them cringeworthy as you simply cannot believe what he's doing half the time. Like the exceptionally homosexual, naked fight with his fat Kazakh producer (which spills into a conference hall at the hotel) after he catches him jacking off over his Baywatch magazine, or using an old sack to abduct Pamela Anderson at the bookfair.... All in all a truly original, bizarre film. 8/
