Max Kane
'Full Fire Mix' is usually spot on, his voice isn't the best for radio but his shows are very consistent & make for good listening
Briggsy
I prefer Eddie's show to Jules's now. The set builds better, and the tunes are more "serious" (ie, none of Jules's dodgy bootlegs and poor tunes that'll never see the light of day). Eddie hasn't got the best radio voice, but i'd say he's come on miles since his first ever residency show - he sounded awful back then. I'd say he's had some radio training since then as he sounds more like a presenter now rather than just another club DJ that has been plonked onto a radio show. His show works well - the only downside is that we don't get to hear enough of Eddie mixing. The full-fire mix is usually a guest mix On a side note, I missed last weeks show. I don't suppose anyone recorded Marcel Woods's mix? Marcel is a top DJ, and of all the mixes I missed, it would have to be that one
Max Kane
Can't help with the Woods set sorry mate, next week's mix comes from John Askew which should be interesting. I agree though that whenever there is a guest mix Eddie should do his own extended mix instead of the Altern8 or Label Sampler features
HIGGZY
Briggzy I agree with you mate, he has deffinetly come on since his residency show. I also listen to his show more then Jules now, although i dont like saying that. I think Eddie communicates the dance floor flavour more then Julesy does on his show, however that might be down to radio 1? Plus i also have to admit that i never listen to the first 35 mins of jules show anymore
