Aza
CLASSICS! Over me Easter break these have been on the tele and I been watching some of these. Remember enjoying them as a child as well... Which is your favourite, or do you not like any? For me I think Midsomer's tops it because I like it when they show flash backs - Morse doesn't tend to do this as much. But Morse has got some wondeful Oxford scenery - would love to live up somewhere like there when I get rich (would have to get rid of this newport accent though )
JasonB
Dont bother with either but Nettles is always worth a watch even for 5-10 minutes. Morse is classic stuff aswell but I can't even be botheerd with Taggart, hes been dead for years! so stopped watching when he died.
Quadrant
Murder She Wrote is my favourite - at the end where she confronts the killer, love it. Don't have time to watch it these days as I have to work
Max Kane
Never really been into programmes like these, saying that apart from sport & films & the occasional series I don't watch much TV

bigsteve
Columbo all the way! Spot on! On a similar subject, I watched Lucky Number Slevin and The Departed over the weekend. Why does everyone mumble very quietly in these type of films now? Its so bloody hard to follow the already difficult plot with no-one speaking up
Aza
yeh mate - i agree. Either I dj too much and are going a bit deaf, or it is as you say above. I find watching with the subtitles is a lot easier. Also, I watched a few Bruce Lee films the otehr day and in original cantonese without dubs. Its amazing to see how much they lines translated and dubbed are different from the subtitles.
bigsteve
yeh mate - i agree.Either I dj too much and are going a bit deaf, or it is as you say above. That was my first thought, but then the gf agreed with me! I'm gonna have to start putting subtitles on too I reckon. The yank accent doesn't help either
Chrissie Brown
I rarely watch TV these days. I sometimes watch the "Gadget Show" and some of the property programmes like "Location Location". Also like "Grand Designs" and "Mega Structures". I use to like watching "Midsomer Murders". Don't watch soaps anymore as they are too depressing and they are on too many times a week. bigsteve
I gave up on soaps a long time ago. It becomes a ritual and you just need to break the habit to realise how much of your life you lose to them.
