I went for something different and quite like them. People said they broke easily. I had mine for a good 6 years without any problems until the left speaker blew - but to be fair, I did have them constantly loud. I bought the same again two years ago, and they're still going strong. Things only break if they're looked after poorly. I look after my equipment, so therefore it lasts. To be fair they are pretty damn good, although the HD25`s are better, i bought these because i have my laptop in my front room and my mrs after gets the hump when im checking out tracks / mixes during such important programs like eastender , The OC etc etc. But i have been stung......
