Ducky
I know what you mean but after the first few mins it sounds pretty good, i can see that it would work in a club. One thing i will say though again is that Jules is playing far to many bootlegs still, i havnt a problem with playing them as long as they are good but that marco v vs house of pain thing he's playing is absolutley awful!!!!!!! Chrissie Brown
Admittedly it's well done but as "Gatex" is one of my favourite tunes l don't like to hear it messed around with.
KSheehan
Cheers for the comments guys, feedback is really appreciated. But as I've said its only done for fun really, I didnt put as much time into this one as I have done on previous mashups. Try not to take it too seriously. Im working on another edit of it at the mo without the gatex sample and more of alloy mental, we'll see how it goes. Pm me for a copy if anyones interested. Moonman
mashups/bootlegs are a good way for an upcoming producer to get their name out their and get some gigs. If it's done well you cant knock them. I'm looking at getting into production at some point and i already know what tune i am going to bootleg when i start. Well done to K Sheehan on the Jules play though, you must be well pleased!
Briggsy
I've not heard this one yet, but I liked your previous two. Out of interest, what software do you use to make your bootlegs? Do you use the software to beatmatch the tunes too, or do you do that using decks?

Well done to K Sheehan on the Jules play though, you must be well pleased! Ya that is true, bootlegs are a good start to getting into original production. From making these series of bootlegs I've began to understand tunes more, their structures and the way they are put together. I am obviously heading towards producing my own original material so they're helping me no end! In reply to what software I use then I record the samples and put them together with the main tune in Sony Acid Pro.
