Briggsy
What do you reckon our chances are on Wednesday night? I've gotta be honest, I think its gonna be tough now. We gave up in the last 20 minutes yesterday - the albion were more up for it I hope Gary Breen doesn't have another stinker like he did yesterday. That pass straight to Kevin Phillips was perfect - he couldn't have given it any easier if he tried, and why he played so deep to play when the other three defenders had gone forward was beyond me. We looked promising for a while, especially after our first goal - we kept pushing then. Even Bothroyd put himself about a bit - which is unusual for that lazy git! (No I don't rate him, never have, and never will!) If we can get an early goal, I think we stand a chance, if not, I think the albion will just throw everyone back and just hoof everything away for the majority of the match
Max Kane
I think we can do em mate honestly, I'll be there at the poorthorns to cheer em on anyway, I felt quite optomistic after Sunday, thought we out played them & can do so again.
Ducky
Im a Coventry fan for my sins! lol and never rated Bothroyd or Breen when they played for us. Bothroyd is the lazyest player i think i have ever seen and Breen has a habit of making stupid mistakes that cost goals and then has a habit of trying to blame everyone else. I think it will be tight but think West Brom will shade it as they have players that can raise it a level and make things happen, will be close though. Max Kane
Bothroyd has greatly improved in his attitude & work rate since his spell on the bench earlier this year, I rate him highly & believe on his day he can be the best striker in our league
Briggsy
Yeah, overall, I think we have the skill to beat them. Player for player, we have more skill than them, but they're strike force is much better than ours (maybe not in the skill department - but definately in goal ratio). If we can play like we did the other day, then i'm confident - just as long as we play for the full 90 minutes, and not give up early like we did the other day. I'd like to agree about Bothroyd - but I honestly think he's a waste of space. I can't see what any manager see's in him. He can show a great bit of flair now and again, but he's lazy, and he'll never be a 20 goal a season striker. As for Breen - he can be great on his day. He's clever, his tackling is solid, and his positioning is usually good - but he is prone to clumsy mistakes, and he did it twice on Sunday. There's no need to play so deep when the other defenders have pushed on, and if your gonna make a clearance, it needs to be well off the floor - not across the turf. His lack of pace is a big problem and he has the turning radius of a bus. Apart from that, he's useful. He needs younger legs alongside him - and that didn't happen on Sunday. That was our biggest problem. I'll give Breen his credit though - he knew he was at fault for two of the goals. he was angry with himself.

Briggsy
Well, a very disappointing night. We were abysmal - half-hearted challenges, a strike force that were no threat whatsoever, and lack of movement off the ball. I hate to say it, but West Brom look an impressive side, and I think Derby have a tough test. I also hate to say it, but I think if West Brom go up, they're good enough to stay up next time. They can pass the ball around nicely, they're fairly solid in defence, have the best keeper outside of the Premiership, and have three good strikers. Their midfield could do with a little beefing up - perhaps two more faces to accompany Koumas are needed. On the whole though, the whole Wolves team have had a terrific season, and Mick McCarthy deserves a medal. He's built a good side in less than 12 months. Glenn Hoddle ruined the side and left him with a load of crap. Before big Mick came in, I seriously thought we'd be fighting to stay up this year - so to finish at the other end is a huge bonus. Hopefully, McCarthy can keep a lot of those players next year. Murray, Keogh, McIndoe and Kightly are the backbone of the team for next season. I think we need a strong, pacey centre half to replace Breen (is positioning and pace are suspect). We also need a prolific scorer - our strikers are good, but none of them are 20 goals a season strikers. Anyway, just to take the piss at West Brom, i've decided to design a kit that I think would suit them very well next season. Here goes: Lovely.........
