Weeve agreed to a house swap a house which is 5 mins drive away or 10 minutes walking roughly.

The house is slightly smaller and the back gardens a 1/4 of the size of the on here.

The gnereal moving is beacuse of neighbours and due to mym mum beibng severlybdepreesed over the past 3 months so a new start somewhere else will help sort of.

Everythings easy to move ereally all boxed up near enought, the biggei is moving all my vinyl from one loft to another, Ive got well did have 19 boxes worth in t loft of which only 6 are up there now needed to be shifted downstairs.

Im protective so of my vinyl thats going to be shifted over two days from downstairs to the new house loft via car 4 boxes per trip arther than chuck it all in a great big van or such.

Anyone for pictures randomageley?

Moving is such a blag. When I moved out & got my own 'Pad' it was such a ballache trying to get everyting packed. I dread doing it next time as I've now got loads of furniture that I've accumulated. I managed to get out of carrying all the vinyl up two flights of stairs! I challenged my mate into doing it by saying he wasn't strong enough (knowing how determined he would be to prove his strength).

Its all the bills and things you have to change the address for thats the biggest pain. I got a rather useful list for that, which I found in a local freebee newsletter. It lists all the possible mail address changes you may need to make i.e. bank statements, bills etc. Being the rather orgainised person I am, I shall find it great help when I next shift residence (which wont be that far away).

Having had 13 addresses in my life, I know exactly how much of a hassle moving is. Good luck with it Jase and hope your Mum feels better in the new place. A fresh start is as good as anything

I hate moving too. I'm still housesharing and hoping that the next time i move, it'll be my own place. I've done the easy thing and left part of my vinyl round my parents house and another part of it round my grandparents place (cos my pops gets the arse over my tunes taking up a good chunk of the garage!)

I worked last sunday the day of the m,ove so I saw the aftermath as I came home to new house.

What a bloody shambles it was apparently, everything turned up in once piece though.

Evereythings settled now bar records, Ive got just under half into the loft and the rest are in the corner of my mums room for the time being.

Internet still yet to be sorted at home so using internet downtown (3 quid for an hour) to write this.

I'll be on here sparingly untill I get home net sorted.

Couple of things Jacey B - be careful of putting your vinyl in the loft as it gets very cold and damp up there! Could ruin all your tunes!

Secondly, what do you mean by a house "swap" - you and a friend exchanging locations because you like each others houses?? :)

Crikey - bit of a wait dude ain't it :o

Gutted when I moved and the net p!ssed about - unless you move at short notice it is always best to try and notify your ISP and hopefully they can do a swift changeover, but I had many probs myself with at the time, NTL!
