Briggsy
Oakie is crap - I wish someone would give him a greatest hit - the harder the better. He played the same tunes in Coventry two weeks ago as he did at Global Gathering 2006 and 2007. Fred Baker - Total Blackout, yet again! He played that new Southern Sun remix a couple of weeks ago - and its awful!
Max Kane
I've seen him play live twice, Global '04 & at Gods in '05. Both times his mixing was awful but he did play some great tracks. He's a novelty act now, trading off past glories, not a consistent performer. I'm glad I saw him but wish so very much he'd have stayed on the pre 2000 form
JasonB
The Way I se eit is any of the above remixes anyone wants they already have or shoudl have by now! its not worth buying for the 8 remixes that will only be playable magically from jan 1st 2008 (maybe eh!!) Moonman
i think it's fitting how he turned s*** when he tried to crack america i.e he forgot what made him, whilst at the same time leaving behind the european club scene, which lets face it, is the best. He altered his sound to try and crack america and now he's, well, in the same category as Jeremy Healy now.
Uberduck
Christ that looks awful. Its unmixed too . Can't say I'd ever want to play 97% of those tracks. Southern Sun was a wicked track but for gods sake, either kill it off or get someone with ability to remix it!! I just wish people would stop going to see him and hence cut the demand so that he never gets to punish us with his dribble sets and lacklustre track selection. I would positively avoid any club night where he would be playing. Dont want to feed his ego.

JasonB
Theres a 2 cd mixed version of all those tracks though aswell! I love 02 Robert Owens I'll Be Your Friend [Perfecto Re-Edit] 03 Shamen Progen 91 [i.R.P. in the Land of Oz] 04 U2 Even Better Than The Real Thing [Perfecto Mix] 05 Olive You're Not Alone [Oakenfold & Osborne Remix] Mansun Wide Open Space [Perfecto Remix] 05 U2 Beautiful Day [The Perfecto Mix] 06 Grace Not Over Yet [Perfecto Mix] all great remixes, of which I require owens and ive got the remix of mansun on the way to me currently. Im not going to buy thsi 3cd job for those and a couple more of the remixes i already have or for 8 new remixes which will porbbaly be as bad as his hiver & hammer ripping of remix of underworld (ill playu oakies mix but its still only avergae really, but theres no other trance mix of it other than paul van dyks jobby which is white label only?!). its a 3/5 type comp, if you havent got the stuff on there give it a try, if you have got what you want dont bother. I've been after that for yonks! Its as rare as rocking horse dung to get hold of Oakie went downhill after he let his hair grow like a big girl. I reckon he mixes crap because his hair gets on his way and blocks the view of the mixer
