I mean, look at that other bird trying to compete with The Flexible One - not a chance. Don't know if you know who she is, but her and her brother (also in the house) and the 2 that roller skate on a stupidly small round table at stupidly fast speeds and get into stupidly difficult positions. Strange concept. I have to admit it would be addictive if you did start watching it. The fact that pathetic little going's on would be left as little teasers by C4 so that you have to watch the next one would inevitably get me hooked and I certainly don't want that. We used to have an external gym teacher at secondary school who came in once or twice to undertake boy only gym workouts. I think these programs have got to stop sooner or later or alternatively massively reduce their frequency on TV. Saturday nights have always been a bit crap for TV but now they're taken up by celebrity dancing shows, talent shows and crap drama's. When one stops, anoher one begins. They make my blood boil. Who cares if Willy Thorn can score a perfect 10 in a dance competition? It's just so fake. That Bill Turnbull chap who does the morning news on BBC is the most annoying person to have come out of these shows. Before I had freeview I used to have this on when I was having my breakfast and all he EVER went on about was how he was on Strictly Come Dancing. bigsteve Posted January 11, 2008 Report Share Posted January 11, 2008 900,000 is pretty good considering its on E4 and not C4. This whole celeb-hijack thing is completely pants. The fact Davina isn't doing it says something. Although I occassionally watch Big Brother, and with less and less interest all the time, the whole reality TV thing surely has a limited lifespan. The amount of people that were ripped off with the phone scandals was just the start of its downfall imo. The TV channels used reality voting as an income which was totally wrong. I hated the way that in, say in the X-Factor final, you could vote all through the show for someone then, as competitors were booted off, the phonelines re-opened and you could vote again for the remaining contestants! And to cap it all, where are all these 'winners' now? (Leona excepted) ie Alex Parks from Fame Academy, G4, One True Voice, Hear'say.
