Since it started I've done the lottery, same numbers on 2 lines, approx once a year I win 10 pounds, yes I'm a mug!!

I got so poor a few weeks ago I couldn't really afford a ticket, I didn't do the lottery that week, I resisted checking the numbers.

Then I checked, the week I stopped doing it, 4 plus the bonus came up.............I dunno how much I woulda won, I don't care, but it does make me SICK!!!

I knew it would happen, that's why i always done it.

I hate being right all the time

(and unlucky)

I normally do a line on the lottery for each Wed & Sat, always using the same numbers week in, week out.

The problem is I daren't not do it now as I'm afraid the one time I don't use my numbers, that will be the time they get drawn (sod's law!)

I remember a story in the paper a couple of years ago where a woman had asked her hubby to get that weekend's Lotto ticket & later in the day she discovered her numbers had come up.

She then rang her other half to tell him the good news & it turned out he had been in the pub all afternoon & forgot to buy the ticket!

I would have been sick to say the least :rubbish:

I lost £500 on online roulette earlier this year. bet on red and it came up black. Gambling is for mugs!

Although, I still believe the key to winning any game is to chase your losses.

The lottery has a very poor rate of return, with only 50% of the money going in, coming back out in prizes. The rest goes to the government in taxes, to 'good causes', the retailer and of course Camelot.

And don't get fooled by thinking that this is a good way to give to charity (think Dome). If you want to give to charity, put a pound in a jar of your choosing. Having said all that, if your 6 numbers do come up, you're sorted...
