Hardaway
My laptop has decided that the DVD-CD-Rom is not connected anymore, I know a few of you are pretty good at sorting these things out so I reach to you for some assistance on this matter.... In the 'Control Panel' in the 'Device Manager' is says this.............. 'Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)' I've tryed the 'Check for Solutions' button but nowt happens there! My friend at work suggested that I uninstall it and then just re-install it but I'm worried that thid will just further my problem as the drive doesnt work how will I re-install something that wont read and install anything itself. Pardon the lack of computer lingo here, As I am but a mere Mortal in this subject. Any help will be much appreciated very much! Matt
