Aza
Hey Nathan Dug this out to provide feedback as have been very grateful for you also taking the time to comment on some of my mixes. I have listened to this twice and have been a little behind of late - travelling around on business etc. Fortunately have been able to get a few train journeys and listened to these fully. I've got another mix of yours from Jan to check out, but think compared to the other mixes I checked out, this is one of your strongest in terms of mixing. Really solid, locked beats, with seamless integration. I was impressed! I like how the set's have been thought out and structured and you've done well to structure many many good tracks from the year. On the whole I think CD1 was my fave and no matter how many times I hear it, I love O’Callaghan's Find Yourself. The vocals are so beautiful I have to say, however, that the downfall for me was in CD2 and I didn't take to some of the tracks partly because I think there were too many vox tracks. This is just a personal preference and observation and to others - no doubt - they will prefer these. That said, this is just constructive and positive feedback and that preferential/observational comment does not take anything away from the set and mixing and comments above. Thanks for sharing this with us and well done on a great set recording! Cheers - Aza
