excellent set, and one of hte last times I visited Sundissential @ The Pulse. This set is also infamous for the start of the long war between Jules and Madders. After the set, Madders slated the set on the mic while Jules was still there. Hence why Sundissential never got shout outs on Jules' R1 shows. I've never, ever seen an uncorrupted copy of this set on the internet. I do have a full version of this, but the quality of the tape is nowhere near as good as the mp3 that's posted above.

Excellent news! Bought a PS3 on release and have been really pleased with it. The quality of BluRay is outstanding on a HD TV. Now Warner has changed to Blu Ray exclusivity, I really don't see it being long before Paramount changes it's stance again. This will be the year of PS3.

I dunno what to make of this. I mean I'm gutted they're not doing this anymore, but I read they weren't producing anymore about 18 months ago? Even saw the statement they issued to the dance community, stating piracy and lack of interest from clubbers being the prime reasons. Did anyone see this? Absolutely shocking list if you ask me. I don't know who actually votes in these things (i didn't this year, but it certainly wouldn't have made much difference looking at that!) Surprised A&B didn't get above 4th. They've clinched it for years now. Big Sky is the most overrated tune I've heard in years. The vocal is so poor, just doesn't mean anything at all. I was bored of hearing it back in August.

totally agree, until sander came on and ruined it! noise made my ears bleed! first time i've left crasher before six in years....everyone else was quality though!

Yeah, it's the Stadium mix, I've got the original vinyl. PvD still plays this now (albeit in some truncated ableton form). This is the set that made me sit up and really take notice of Jules. I love the energy in it.

That is true, you can go on DSI and find people slagging Jules off (and other dj's) left right and centre. I rarely go on and slag DJ's off on message boards, if I don't enjoy it, I'll say I couldn't get into it and leave it at that. I'd much rather talk about how good a xxx DJ's set was. Especially to people that weren't there! haha If people just go on message boards to slag DJ's off and say how much they didn't enjoy a night, why do they continually bother to see them and why are they even still going out if it's so s***?

my two cents, re: Jules @ Godskitchen on Saturday: Personally, I thought Jules was on top form, after how disappointing he was at Crasher's 14th Birthday in the main arena anyway. Although I didn't stick around to hear Sander van Doorns set, I can't say who played best of the night. If he backpedalled his set, I really didn't notice! Briggsy - If I'd have know you were heading to Gods I'd have said we could have met up to say hi. Maybe next time.

It was strange that Armin was announced just after the DJ Mag poll was announced. But, with Armin knocking around the top 3 for the last few years, don't you think he would have been fully booked for at least the next 6 months? Especially over the holiday season, i'd have thought it would have been booked long before now. PvD had to put his Passion gig off from the beginning of October when he was ill, until next February! Just seems a bit suss to me?

erm...no it wasn't. Jules states at the end of Disco Cop he's "coming at us live from Cafe Mambo" I think the Saturday 7pm show might have. Don't think I kept that though.

I've absolutely no idea. I've only heard the mix Jules played.

There were loads of problems with the audio that night, although that was the least of our complaints to crasher afterwards! The sound went off there just like it did during Jules' set. One set of decks actually broke down while the Chemical Brothers were on earlier in the night! Good job 2 sets of decks were put up really!
