 hi there, 'tis indeed a brilliant site with the wealth of info!
  2. Yeah, well enjoyed this little mix...nice one!
  3. Ha Ha....I wasn't too struck on the first couple of tracks so inclined to agree!
  4. ....nice.... quite a delicate sound methinks. Can't say I remember it but rings a bell....
  5. After being dragged kicking and screaming as they say , into the 21st centuary, have actually got 'round to dumping this around onto an mp3 player to go out running with, whereas initially that Basoski track didn't do much for me....it's loads easier to jog to than Push's Universal Nation! even at my pace....
  6. hi there, I've already said hello to new folks in that thread, but I like the fact you've added a profile/avatar pic! :)

  7. Yeah, don't remember it. Nice tune though-went a different way to as I expected.
  8. We were Acorn users although we did start off inputting binary code onto ye olde ZX 81!!! My fave game was Repton...that green lizzardy thing...oh! and not to mention Chuckie Egg!!!
  9. 28 downloads

*01-12 missing 13. Jan Johnston - 'Flesh' (Tilt's Going Home Mix) [Perfecto] 14. Spoiled & Zigo - 'More And More' [Manifesto] 15. Ariel - 'A9' [Essential]
  10. HeHe...cheers yes, and that's the part mix I've now located and I know what the tunes are....
  11. Got it! 's looking like 27/11/04 'cos it's nestling around Commander Tom's Attension before Ridgewalkers Find. This is extremely addictive stuff, sorting out, listening to quality tunes and fitting them all together! Now to find the mixes! ( er..perhaps tomorrow will suffice)
  12. I don't think it sounded studio, but am trawling through track listings and will give it a good listening. Unfortunatlely have to wait for a 'youngster' to visit for the phone stuff . ...have now narrowed it down to October 'cos on a different tape it preceds Ridgewalkers -find....
  13. "...I think my maximum is about 5 hours ever then I need to go to the toilet..."; summer/ autumn 04, sandwiched between two cracking mixes for which I've not left credits on ....although the tunes are familiar I haven't much to go on as there's no vocal clues... :oddcake:
  14. Soz, yeah 'noughties' refers to the decade 2000 - 2010, 'tis a tabloid newspaper term. Will let you know which sessions I have but as I susspected, the remaining tapes I think you have covered. But thanks, this answers my question.
  15. Hi, am starting to catalogue my tapes again and am on the (to me) later years, as in mid noughties. Have come across mixes/ part shows as yet not featured in the listings for Fridays/Saturday shows. Given the era and the date this site appears from I am assuming these shows are in the archive and yet to be updated? ('Tis on that basis I've focused on uploading the more unusual ('cept for a certain JJ sesh) sessions.)
  16. Had problems trying to download this before, looking foreward to the nostalgia fest, even if there are alot of 'obvious' tunes... Finally got around to it, and where as folk'll say same old tunes as on any compilation, I find the the 'seasoning' of Jules and the Chicane interview give it that edge....as I've mooted before....like the crackles in vinyl!
  17. My hands up to being naive to all this forum stuff, but I don't get this leech milarky....'cos on a site as specific as this it must mean something....I mean the era, the tunes, what someone was doing at the time so surley they'd WANT to contribute something?! It's not as if ALL the sets were ALL great ALL the time so it's a bit hit and miss....
  18. Hello there too!. 'tis indeed an awsome (and I believe important site), in that it's recording that very particular era in popular music, with it's nut's and bolts program recordings /sessions...love it!
  19. Wants my health back!!! had the flu, now a snivelling cold, want to be doing .... :(

    1. Quadrant

      Quadrant

Should've gone to Specsavers! (to get the flu jab...)

    2. Simcut

      Simcut

      Sorry to hear that :(

  20. Not had much chance to listen properly to this, spurred on to download it 'cos of JasonB's advice. (Always expect to come across a classic tune off another tape from this era in my collection....but at the mo' no. ) This compilation seems good but will have to give it a few more blasts as yet 'cos it's been weeks between listening. Still not had chance to listen fully...
  21. Just absolutley adore 'Dance with Me' ft Tony Hadley Tin Tin Out mix 97- the fast upbeat version.....
  22. HA ha! we had a zx81, inputting binary to get a 'battleship' to inch across the screen. We progressed to acorn though......my '80's interest was more 'new-romantic/futurist' followed by goth-rock....(missed the Acid house scene), but then I'm an 'old bastard anyway!!' lol
  23. Feel a misleading mix when look at the current ID'd track listing. Again, was hoping for some obscure classics....got the obscure. Unfortunatley the quality I have it recorded in makes it not too pleasent to listen to....rather like in the days when you only had a 'tone' button instead of a 'trebble and bass'...lol; And the tracks I know are the class acts already ID'd. So methinks wont be listening to this too often....but that's me and my antiquated system - don't let others be put off!
  24. Nice....Was curious at the blank spaces so took a chance before TL updated in case there were some forgotten moments. Should have noticed the labels like Urban would mean a more soulful mix than what I was listening to. Anyhow have been impressed with the dynamics of some of the tunes- seem to work best listening through headphones for me, instead of the car -not enough bass!!
