  1. well, why the hell not... Age; 26 (!!) Location; Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Djing for; 9 years, although now, i'm playing the guitar again as i'm bored of the "tech" sound. I've been playing guitar again though. Fave club; erm...was Gatecrasher, these days i like trashy clubs where they play everything and you CAN wear trainers! Local nights in the mould of Erol Alkans TRASH night i suppose. Job; Police Officer - And i love every minute of it. Favourite Cheese; Mature Canadian Cheddar from Tescos! Fave tune ever; too hard to choose, i guess but one that haunts me is Bob Dylan "Knocking On Heavens Door" How did you get here? by searching for "1999 Judge Jules Tracklistings" in Yahoo. pic of me... PS. The Sleeve tattoo is now finished, and yes, IT IS G&T i'm drinking
  2. Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Your Guardian Angel Deadmau5 - Not Exactly Mark Ronson - Stop Me (If You've Heard This One Before) (Judge Jules Bootleg) Timbaland - The Way I Are were some of my favorites. Sorry for being unashamedly pop and rock. That just what i've been into this year. My favorite track of this year though, i first heard Pete Tong play it on the Essential Selection in February or Mach time, and as soon as i heard it i knew it'd be massive.... Nelly Furtado, Justin Timberlake, Timbaland - Give It To Me
  3. the thing is, people will buy this crap. People should be listening to Jimmy Eat World!!!!

isnt the second one perfecto allstarz - papas got a brand new pig bag?
  5. i was hoping he was going to play the "up yer ronson" bootleg. For me, thats my favourite track of the year he's played. I really like it and still do.
  6. "Time is a valuable thing, watch it fly by as the pendulum swings, watch it count down to the end of the day, the clock ticks life away"
  7. if i want to watch birds shagging and kissing each other, i'll fly to amsterdam and get freaky and do it legally, and probably toke on a few j's in the process - not that i endorse that kind of behaviour (in this country - Cannabis is still illegal here kids). HOWEVER, when i go out, i want to hear good music mixed well, not this sad excuse for a porn show. Red Shoe Diaries is more hardcore than that display. I'm sorry but this sort of thing pisses me off - not girls kissing each other, i'm all for it, but promoters booking these people just because of the depths they are prepared to stoop too. I'm all for fit DJ's, but when the music takes a back seat then something is seriously wrong.
  8. we need to get two of those for sure for the archives. It'd be good to get all three really.
  9. i wanted to put that one in but i just didn't have the time sadly. I don't have a copy digitally either. Sometimes i do like to flip the mix quickly aswell. I don't like basslines or synths clashing you see. With some tunes that the only way to mix them sadly. It'd be an idea to maybe upload everyones? Anyway, glad you enjoyed it Aza, it was, as always, a pleasure to do!
  10. argh i wish i could remember what i played! i thought that i'd let the receiver find out what the tracks were, if someone can upload a sample i'll be able to tell you. I truly intended it to be a one off for the receiver, so much so i now have forgot what i played!!! I thoroughly enjoyed the Fuzzy Logic mix i received. He hit the anthems mix spot on. I couldn't have picked or programmed it better TBH. I have since sold my CDJ's but i shall be returning behind the decks in time...I'm looking into saving up for some Technics and Rane Serato Scratch Live....
  11. the track you didnt like was JS16 "Rosegarden". I've had a "jules moment" and forgotten what tracks i put on the CD! Sorry. I got a Fuzzy Logic mix. Without wishing to off Mr Fuzzy, the mixing could have been better in places but to be honest, the tunes he picked were spot on that i didnt really care. I was gagging to hear Ayla "Ayla" in there...and it was!!! This is one for the car.
  12. Oh mate dont even get me started about Kate Lawler...oh to have 10 (okay then 2) minutes alone with her. GRRRRRR! What a body she's got.
  13. i agree, last time i saw her 4/5 years ago, i thought she had a nice bum.
  14. ah yes, i too have discovered IF UNDER 18 DO NOT CLICK THIS
  15. i've never been to a Kings Of Leon gig, they are one of the bands that are on my list to see. I dont have any gigs lined up so we'll see whats going on in the new year. I wish Linkin Park would announce some uk tour dates soon. I for some reason have a hankering to see them again. Last time they were at Rock City they tore it down...
  16. depends on what the tattoo is. The ones i can't stand are the "Tramp Stamps"...i.e any piece of tribal striaght out of the book placed at the base of the spine. It's not sexy at all. But J Haze is right, Kat Von D is awesome!
  17. that always worries me on rides hence why the only rides ill ever go on are the ones at alton towers
  18. exactly, she needs to lay off whatever it is she is taking! I like a girl with ink, seeing as i'm inked too. Stick a bit of weight on her and i would.....................taker her out!
  19. who finds Amy Winehouse attractive? All my mates ripped me when i said it but i do think she is when she is healthy anyway. cue the "messy" pics of her now.... just me then. oh.
  20. yeah i can see your point, to be honest my interest in djing died maybe a couple of years ago. Dance music just isnt doing it for me anymore. I feel there's not enough depth to it for me personally anymore. As i previously said i'm into proper songs these days. I still find myself listening to jules but i'm not quite the obsessive i once was. I've also had a lot of fun jamming on the ol' guitar that i want to get back into that. As Tom said it's all about diversity though, i'm not going to stop listening to dance, i'm taking on board everything now, i'm even finding some R&B and hip-hop that i'm liking also. It's all about good music from any genre for me now. I'll still be nabbing the old jules audio though.
  21. right now its... Primus - Winona's Big Brown Beaver Linkin Park - One Step Closer Limp Bizkit - Hot Dog The Fray - Look After You (Which i'm surprised hasn't been bootlegged yet) Fabolous - So Into You Kanye West - Eveything I'm Not Eagle Eye Cherry - Save Tonight Papa Roach - Getting Away With Murder No Doubt - Just A Girl Filo & Peri - The Anthem - Radio Mix whichever one that is. Like i say, over the last 7-8 months dance music just hasn't interested me. My hearts not in it anymore. I'm more into a rockier sound these days and i'm also more appreciative of good songwriting. That said i still listen to dance music just not as much.
  22. but why? did he forget he already played it???

    Hello!

interesting because i dont really that much anymore either. For me i think it really died around about 2003ish. these days i have gotten back into my rock/metal and whatever else takes my fancy is good. For example, in my 3 CD tray i have Primus "Tales From The Punchbowl", Korn "Untouchables" and right now i'm listening to Enrique Iglesias "Insominac" LP!! I'm not into all this techy stuff, and i find the electro house thing a bit disposable/irritating. I've even sold my CDJ's and gone back to re learning my guitar, which hasn't been too tricky apart from the bloody F Chord and i gotta get the speed back up on the ol' picking. Dance forum wise this is the only one i visit because of the old audio that about. For me, this site keeps that golden era fresh.
  24. definately, i'm all about the 1999/2000 sound. That was when it was best. To be honest today's sound just bores me. It doesn't do anything for me. I suppose thats why i've gone back to my metal/rock routes and started playing the old guitar again. Oh, i forgot to mention i've also sold my CDJ's too....putting the cash toward a motorbike!
