This one's also a mashup mate :thumbsup: I sent Jules these 3 mashups along with a track of my own called Razorburn, which sadly didn't make the show (may have been an MW overload otherwise!) It sounds as if he's done his own edits of my 3 mashups as well - ie, they have 2 breakdowns whereas I had only used the one, etc... At the risk of starting up yet another mashup/bootleg debate, I think at the end of the day if Jules likes a mashup, he's gonna play it if he feels it works for his crowd & generates the club reaction that he's after

Cheers guys! Stardisease was one of my faves from 2006 - reminds me of seeing Jules in Ibiza for the very first time as he played it in Bar M as his opening track. Seemed to fit in with the tunes on this mix too... Tremor - I agree with you about the Dada Life tune. Loved their tunes from 2006-07 such as Fashionista Swindle, Big Time, Vote Yes, etc... Glad your new speakers managed to withstand the audio punishment! :thumbsup:

I reckon it was probably Cold Blue - Downhill as that one sprung to mind as I read your reply? Plus it's one of my favourite trance tunes so far this year so no doubt I was raving on about it!

I've found out by accident tonight what the tune was! :mrgreen: It was Markus Schulz's choice in the DJ Relay on R1 - Rex Mundi - Open Of Northern Ocean (Phynn Remix) Will be keeping my eyes (and ears!) open for this one!

My other half & I were at MOS for this one as part of our visit to London this weekend & it was an excellent one. I thought both Jules' sets were good overall - enjoyed the majority of the tunes that he played. Absolutely LOVED that first tune Jules played in the main room (I have a suspicion it may have been a new Jules tune, not heard him play it before?) If anyone remembers it at all or can ID it, that would be great! My only gripe was a bit of dodgy looping on the odd occasion in both sets but apart from that, I wouldn't have said his sets were terrible at all. Was really cool to meet Christian (Thirddrive) & Chrissie in person in the main room. Had a good chat about Jules & tunes, etc... Went back to the bar after that for a couple of drinks & didn't manage to see any other JJA members afterwards? (sorry! will have to keep an eye open for future board meets )

Ah yes, that's another one worth mentioning that tests the old patience. Weren't there about 20 different versions of this in the Top 40 a few weeks ago? Must have been a very poor period for music that week!

Some tracks that bug me at the moment are anything by N Dubz / Taio Cruz / Tinchy Stryder / Jason Derulo, etc... I'm convinced they all use the same backing track & sing different vocals over each one to pass it off as a new track? They sound EXACTLY the same as each other. The best part is they all still get to number 1 in the charts! :wall:
