I think you are doing the right thing man. When I go to clubs here at Uni, without my ear plugs my hearing is f***** within an hour and it asts for a couple of days, whereas just DJ'ing it's not so bad.

These folk have those drawing 'tablets' thogh dont they, think thats what they are called. They often lay a photo on top and draw over it

Before I picked up the headphones I was gonna go for "Essar", but I hated the thought of explaining it to everyone, and also proving that the chap "Essar" on the Radio 1 tracklists really was me! The reason for Essar though was that its what you hear when you say "SR" out loud ... my initials. It was the best I could come up with, but Simon Ross is pretty good in it's own way I think. A lot of girls I know (yes I know some girls!) ever call me Simon but it's always Simon-Ross, apparently my name isn't complete otherwise

nah that was the Aston Martin episode ... the Bentley episode is old but I've not personally seen it.

It will have been good for Channel 4 ratings though at least ... it will have pulled loads more people to Channel 4 to see the draw rather than watch it on BBC whether people had tickets or not. I thought it was pretty cool to see, but when he says he's gonna reveal the secret you just know it's not as easy as he makes it sound. Take that horse racing one for example, all the effort and time to prepare for it

Don't think he did a lap. Wasn't he just doing sound systems in cars or something??? There would be episodes with his name on the old lap board if he did otherwise ...

My friend was telling me he watched an episode of Fifth Gear on Dave where Jules was testing a Bentley Continental GT, similar to the Aston Martin test not long ago :whistling:

I am good with eggs. I'll be able to hunt it down on the internet after broadcast then sort something out. I have the Fifth Gear episode Jules was on recently downloaded in HD on my hard-drive, so I should be able to get hold of this one :thumbsup:
