thanks for this! i recall hearing this coming back from holiday in the car, and i remember dave pearce playing the dirt devils track; the first time i heard it. i remember writing down the title and getting it from hard to find records the following week. my mind won't let the fact that this was 10 years ago sink in!

i saw jules last year, when he was playing his electro set at global. wasn't too bad, but it got a bit boring after a while. the less said about the trance tent the better... it's a big shame really. most people my age (20-25) only know the judge jules of today. they were to young for the likes of his storming gatecrasher sets in 2001. i wish he'd explode back onto the scene like he used to be.

wasn't this jules' last 5-7 show on a saturday? i'm sure i had this because i remember 'open air - this music' and having it on minidisc. i can't find it anymore, can anyone re-upload this if they have it?

no worries! this is a much better quality version anyway as i said, and besides my tape which i uploaded before this one starts around half an hour into the show. i have lots of judge jules shows from 2004 onwards that i've recorded (maybe one or two before on minidisc and tape). I've got jules covering dance anthems for dave pearce from sunday 14th january 2007, which i'll upload pretty soon if i can find the right section to put it in.

have this on tape, but it comes in during:- Oxygen feat. Andrea Britton - 'Am I On Your Mind?' i did upload it but it never got approved. this one is in much better quality though, the hiver and hammer version of 'gouryella - ligaya' was so special. thanks!

This used to be up on Mixriot, but they've took the file down. Along with tonnes of other Judge Jules mixes and shows Just wondered if anyone had this on here?

i'm sure i have this on vinyl, isn't on a label either. and i think he played it again 2 weeks in a row only a month ago on radio 1.

seen tiesto recently and his mix of silence set the place alight. but it sounds even better with jules playing it when it first came out. great show, brings all the memories flooding back. and makes me think, 'why don't they make them as good as this anymore?

not talking about any type of dance music in particular. but i think the quality of music that was around in 2000/2001/2002 was much better, these days we're flooded with 4x4, dubstep, fidget etc. i have nothing against people who like that and enjoy it (unless it's chavy 4x4), and i'm open to anything so there might always be a good track around the corner. but personally i think todays stuff lacks in comparison to the tracks from the years i mentioned above. i understand that dj's can only play what's here at the time but if you use tiesto for example, as far as i am concerned he sounds a former shadow of himself today compared to the early 2000's.

epic mix. i remember watching all of this on rapture back as a trance loving 12 year old, wow it really dosen't seem that long ago... by the way is the video still around on the net somewhere? 'bleachin - peakin' & 'airwave - save me' bring back some great memories. i was too young back in 2000/1/2 and couldn't fully enjoy a great time in dance music, i turned old enough to go out just in time for 4x4 and dubstep. oh joy...
