simonross46
My checklist for going is: 1. Having the money (will be interesting with University, a car, and CDJ purchasing ahead) 2. Having someone to go with (extremely limited choice) Thankfully a bit shorter than your list Ems - I think they will have some DnB somewhere at the event. If not they limit their target audience. Number2Fan
I'll go with both of ya!! My list is the same!
Max Kane
There's usually a Drum n Bass tent, located near the outskirts of the site. I've never checked it out so can't comment on how good it is. I can't help with the having friends part though
Number2Fan
I always check all tents out!!
Max Kane
I always check all tents out!! It depends though doesn't it? I mean I know I don't like drum n bass so why waste time checking out the d'n'b tent when I could just explore some other area of the site which I may have an interest in? simonross46
I know I would not explore too much because of my specific taste in music.
Max Kane
You quickly decifer which tents you wana stay around anyway, most of the time the little flyer with the set times on comes in handy as you can plan when to explore & when to hit certain tents to catch the DJs you really want to see. If the weather is great it's a real temptation to just sit on the 'beach' downing over-priced lager all day though

Max Kane
I still go and have a look. If that is what you want to do then so be it, it's not for me though. If I pay the vast prices that these festivals demand then I'm not gona miss out on seeing Sasha & Digweed so I check out a tent with which I know I will have no connection or remote interest in

Max Kane
Orbital is a great choice, The Prodigy is cool (but perhaps not as exclusive as Orbital), Pendulum I would specifically avoid
Number2Fan
It is very tempting, but still way too expensive and I DON'T DO CAMPING!!
simonross46
The expense worries me most
emy
Spend money now while you are alive!!! Unless you want your coffin lined with £20 notes
Number2Fan
I don't want a coffin at all, I wanna be buried upright as it uses less ground space and have no coffin as I am as eco friendly as i can be with become a hermit in the woods! simonross46
Being burried upright means more effort to dig the hole ... although now mechanical diggers are used, but they wont be able to dig downwards as easily as scraping the surface long ways. Why I have gone technical about it? I want to go to Global, but I don't like to spend money.
emy
Ok, you sit in your room and count your money while we all go to global
simonross46
It will be a pleasure until I run out of money to count lol
Number2Fan
Bet the people who choose Global over counting money have a better time.
Max Kane
If you haven't been I really would recommend you go, sod the expense. If you save a little bit here & there now you'll easily be able to afford it
