I never realise it was this version I've been after nooooooooooooo! Oakie played this at the end of his live from cream november 97 essential Mix hour! I thought the version he played was an unreleased Perfecto remix, hence I was so dissapointed with the Perfecto remix that was released I thought this version never came out Damn If I'dve realised years ago So Thanks and also damn you!! Yes, what a tune indeed! Jules even Tried N Tested this tune himself on his show a few years back and he put it: "I have to say this with a bit of smoke on my face!". Initially and TBH, I was a massive fan of the original mix of this tune, but it doesn't really fit a set when playing out. Maybe you can get away with it on a CD like Jules did for Clubbed 2002, but this remix really makes it into a corker of a tune! Green Martians remix of Murto was atrocious IMO! It was a blatant rip off of this remix of the Oboe Song and doesn't compare to the original IMO! All great tunes mentioned above - O Memory! When I asked Greg about it last year, he said that the label wanted to release it, but the band weren't being very co-operative - so it was 50/50. The latest rumour i've heard though is that there's a "Perfecto remixed" bundle coming out later this year - and its supposed to feature Paul Oakenfolds latest remix of Southern Sun and Downey's mix of Wide Open Space.
