  1. OOOOOOHHHHHH lovely!!!! For me the weakest tracks are 18 and 19...(.know I've commented on Portamento Passout before-probably contradicting self here!!) .....But do love this sesh.......happy days....
  2. Diving faces....yeah....else another pleasant little mix. For me, these little mixes are saved by the radio one jingles half way through which make them come alive rather than being some faceless cd mix..............
  3. Pleasant....innocuous...nothing really belts me in the face....
  4. Well, again not a sesh I've downloaded -yet; But have this little 30 min thingy at the end which I love....'cept Moguai. Just LOVE Singles and Angles, a little tunage that crops up all over my tapes from this era.
  5. For some reason I haven't actually listened that much to this mix so 've been giving it a blast and I think it's quite allright! I think the way Jules pronounces 'L'annonce Des Couleurs' just makes me laugh..(childish humour), and then he calls Angelic Angel!.... hhmmm....but on the whole -like!
  6. yeah peeps, I own up to being one of the fogies just to quell curiosity as there don't seem to me many gals on here.

  7. Hi, that's an impressive 'about me' page. Not many of us have configured this bit....nice.

  8. Yeah, well enjoyed this little mix...nice one!
  9. hi there, I've already said hello to new folks in that thread, but I like the fact you've added a profile/avatar pic! :)

  10. 28 downloads

*01-12 missing 13. Jan Johnston - 'Flesh' (Tilt's Going Home Mix) [Perfecto] 14. Spoiled & Zigo - 'More And More' [Manifesto] 15. Ariel - 'A9' [Essential]
  11. Hello there too!. 'tis indeed an awsome (and I believe important site), in that it's recording that very particular era in popular music, with it's nut's and bolts program recordings /sessions...love it!
  12. Wants my health back!!! had the flu, now a snivelling cold, want to be doing .... :(

    1. Quadrant

      Quadrant

Should've gone to Specsavers! (to get the flu jab...)

    2. Simcut

      Simcut

      Sorry to hear that :(

  13. Feel a misleading mix when look at the current ID'd track listing. Again, was hoping for some obscure classics....got the obscure. Unfortunatley the quality I have it recorded in makes it not too pleasent to listen to....rather like in the days when you only had a 'tone' button instead of a 'trebble and bass'...lol; And the tracks I know are the class acts already ID'd. So methinks wont be listening to this too often....but that's me and my antiquated system - don't let others be put off!
  14. Nice....Was curious at the blank spaces so took a chance before TL updated in case there were some forgotten moments. Should have noticed the labels like Urban would mean a more soulful mix than what I was listening to. Anyhow have been impressed with the dynamics of some of the tunes- seem to work best listening through headphones for me, instead of the car -not enough bass!!
  15. Whhhoooaaahhhh!!!! Very nice little 'back in the day' club mix, esp DuMonde....
  16. Welcome, my sentiment too! I only found this site in June, much to my chagrin...meant at that point I'd 'lost' good mixes under crappy compilations I'd compiled for exersizing to without realising...and then ther's the track listings helping ID tracks in the days when I just taped stuff that just sounded good....I think it's a treasure trove!!!
  17. Been blitzing my downloads whilst playing with paints.....this is coming out easily on top of my faves....jjuuusssttt love it...(even getting used to 'play with the voice'....) Take that back......the voice ruins it.....
  18. In some respects that X-Cabs track has been re-descovered by me (IDing it /dates and all that) and 've now got it on my mind LOADS! ....LLLOOOVVVEEE IIITTT!!.....it's not in yer face or composed of the deep majestical layers of trance that I usually fall for but has a pleasant optimism. The thing is, I think it just shows how valuble and brill this site is 'cos it's keeping the good stuff alive...
  19. Loved this mix until Modem's Contact, 'fraid early morning alarm sounds coupled with Darlek groans (was gonna put something a bit more graphic but had second thoughts) don't float my boat; although it did pick up with Yomanda at the end. Will give it more of a listen.....
  20. ...am very sad...two funerals....

  21. Should I REALLY act my age?......Nah! shoe size is more fun...

  22. Yeah..'twas an 'eh?' moment when Jules read the 'track listing' out, even though forewarned. As usual for my taste this set gets progressively better, particularly with Tillman & Ries, Burgy then York. A few more listens and am sure will appreciate the lesser known (to me) tracks. As I've said before, I initially omitted tracks that didn't give the feel that I'd get into them...like everybody else....so it's great to have the opportunity to listen in entirety!
  23. ...Electribe 101...

  24. ...I've seen you passing by And then you caught my eye I thought "God this could be the next big thing"....

  25. Am in agreement with Quadrant. But I'm starting to see a pattern with these mixes I'm revisiting as in I'm finding that the first track is generally my least fave of the bunch then from then on the sesh's build- and quite often into something awesome. Not something I'd been aware of as when I first listened/taped the mixes I'd leave an awful lot of stuff out after discerning what to dump down ....so many thanx...
