  1. In some respects that X-Cabs track has been re-descovered by me (IDing it /dates and all that) and 've now got it on my mind LOADS! ....LLLOOOVVVEEE IIITTT!!.....it's not in yer face or composed of the deep majestical layers of trance that I usually fall for but has a pleasant optimism. The thing is, I think it just shows how valuble and brill this site is 'cos it's keeping the good stuff alive...
  2. Loved this mix until Modem's Contact, 'fraid early morning alarm sounds coupled with Darlek groans (was gonna put something a bit more graphic but had second thoughts) don't float my boat; although it did pick up with Yomanda at the end. Will give it more of a listen.....
  3. ...am very sad...two funerals....

  4. Should I REALLY act my age?......Nah! shoe size is more fun...

  5. Yeah..'twas an 'eh?' moment when Jules read the 'track listing' out, even though forewarned. As usual for my taste this set gets progressively better, particularly with Tillman & Ries, Burgy then York. A few more listens and am sure will appreciate the lesser known (to me) tracks. As I've said before, I initially omitted tracks that didn't give the feel that I'd get into them...like everybody else....so it's great to have the opportunity to listen in entirety!
  6. ...Electribe 101...

  7. ...I've seen you passing by And then you caught my eye I thought "God this could be the next big thing"....

  8. Am in agreement with Quadrant. But I'm starting to see a pattern with these mixes I'm revisiting as in I'm finding that the first track is generally my least fave of the bunch then from then on the sesh's build- and quite often into something awesome. Not something I'd been aware of as when I first listened/taped the mixes I'd leave an awful lot of stuff out after discerning what to dump down ....so many thanx...
  9. A right nostalgiafest.....love it. Although not too familiar with the first track no doubt will end up being car-karioki(however that's spelt.) Classics by signum and X-Cabs. Infact didn't even realise it was the X-Cabs, it was just one of those tunes I liked and taped in the days before I left credits on.
  10. I'm out of fashion...my moments over....but I don't mind

  11. Speaking of 'shouts'...a couple of weeks ago whilst checking out a jules mix/show tape I've got he gave you a name check, 'twas around 11th june 06, a week before Escape in Swansea...something about the weather. I know you'd 've heard this before, but I found it quite novel! :D

  12. Interesting....just noticed that I apparently posted something 'yesterday at 9:55 pm' ....I was at work...

Forgot to mention that you also need to tick one of the boxes that are underneath the "Time Zone" and then "save" the changes. Hope this helps!

  14. Hhhmm....trawling through my tapes IDing tracks with great help from the archives came across one I'd previously descibed as 'horrid noise'....

  15. Yeah....good mix. Nice to see/hear what I missed - remember the night well, thunderstorms, landmark birthday...off up 'the Bomb' in Notts to see Sasha so didn't get to tape...cheers.

  19. ..that is just SO obscure but wow! the nearest I came was Shannon's 'it's over love' - cheers....
  20. Wow excellant!! This contains the Todd Terry track I've been trying to identify for yonks, which indeed lead me to this site. I've tried discogs, manifesto ,you tube but as I'm essentially a novice at this stuff the best I'd come up with was the track listing as you guys have it. Awsome upbeat track and have vivid recollections of some...er..kids..going mental at the 'pre-progress' club -as it was known, a converted church. Great stuff...
  21. weh-hey...just been banging out some great tunes in the car comming home from work...and it's stiil light!!

  22. ...ooops- best get on with m' painting...

  23. Unfortunatley no gold mine.....not sure the quality of my tapes would be relavent as they really are tunes just 'dumped' together. Also the earlier tapes have PT interpersed with JJ. I have a meagre 40-ish with the earlier ones being PT . So far have now identified two mixes as 19/3/05 and 28/1/06...I susspect are readily available. However am willing to share ...
  24. Yes - I have my treasured compilations which I'm currently transfering to cd. Disappointingly don't have as many 'mixes' as thought and with much dismay the tape labelled 18/2/00 is an inaudible hiss....I seem to recall my stack playing up at one point, just before it became ..er.. 'dismantled'! The couple of mixes I have left are from around 05 so will be more easily attainable in the public domain. The one I'm recording at the moment was jan 28 06. I still have some unlabelled tapes to sort.
  25. ..into the mix we go...
