  12. The stage is set. The lights are down. The anticipation for what’s to come is rising through the club like electric energy. Excitement is building until the massive LED screens reveals the name that they’ve all been waiting for, a name that makes the crowd erupt…here it comes… SANDER VAN DOORN! Sander Van Doorn had a phenomenal 2012! Highlights included the wildly successful second edition of his “Dusk Till Doorn” compilation and ambitious sell-out global tour, a residency at The Marquee in Las Vegas and his first Vocal Production “Love is Darkness” Featuring Carol Lee. He was also awarded the prestigious Silver Harp Award at the Buma Harp Gala 2011 in Utrecht, Netherlands. The harp is one of the highest awards you can receive in Holland and has only ever been previously awarded to Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. A technical and musical genius, Sander van Doorn is without a doubt one of the world’s most essential, influential and popular DJ/Producers in dance. A brand synonymous with excellence – both production wise, and in front of the thousands he plays to nightly. He is truly one of the strongholds in dance music, a generation defining artist that reshapes the perception of what dance music can be. When Carl Cox stops the music to point you out, telling the nearly 50,000 people “This is one of the best producers in music today, remember his name…Sander van Doorn!” then you can bet the whole world will take notice. And Carl wasn’t the only Sander fan. Armin van Buuren named Sander one to watch early on, and Tiesto championed his productions regularly. Sander seized the opportunities at hand and dedicated himself to a relentless touring and production schedule for the next few years. It was during this time that Sander penned some of his classics. From originals like Grasshopper, Punk’d and Riff, to massive remixes of The Killers (Spaceman), Sia (The Girl You Lost To Cocaine), Robbie Williams (Close My Eyes) and Depeche Mode (Peace) it seemed the lad from Eindhoven was on a collision course for superstardom. He is now required headliner at the most prestigious institutions dance music has ever known. Mysterland, Dance Valley, Global Gathering, Sankeys, Pacha, Cream, Sensation, Space, SW4, Trance Energy, Creamfields and of course Gatecrasher have all hailed his arrival .Each year the number of countries visited grows, as does his frequent flier status. With a tour diary that see’s the superstar play to more than a million fans each year, there’s no doubt that that Sander van Doorn is dance music’s favourite son. Sander continues to meet the demands of being one of the world’s most sought after artistsby continuing to evolve musically, professionally and artistically. In 2010 a deal was reached with global satellite leader SiriusXM to syndicate his radio show called ‘Identity.’ The show airs twice weekly to over 10 million worldwide on channel 38, Electric Area. Joining Sander is new radio 1 signing DANNY HOWARD. Howard’s rise to fame has been nothing short of stratospheric. This month the superstar has been confirmed as the latest addition to the star-studded line-up at Radio 1. Danny , will front his very own Radio 1 show “Dance Anthems” every Saturday from 4pm to 7pm. The popularity of the former Syndicate nightclub DJ has rocketed since he won the station’s Superstar DJ 2011 competition in the Summer and opened Radio 1’s Ibiza Weekend at the Ushuaia Hotel in Ibiza.. In 5 short years Danny has established himself as a real genuine next level DJ in a very short space of time. Throughout his DJ career Danny has already had great success playing at various venues across the UK and internationally gaining residencies at Ministry Of Sound as well as at UK’s biggest Superclub ‘The Syndicate’ in Blackpool. In his own words Danny describes his style as ‘Sexy house’ but because of his love for electronic music, he has never pigeonholed himself into a single style or genre… ‘If it sounds good, I’ll play it’! Danny’s DJ sets are very much based on being versatile, using influences from every genre from every era and giving the crowd in front of him an unforgettable performance! He’s played at some of the top nightclubs as well as at various venues across the UK often supporting some of the world’s top DJs & Acts, most recently two appearances at one of the world’s most famous clubs – Space Ibiza. He has also featured on some of the UK’s biggest club brand dance tours such as Hed Kandi, Cream and Gatecrasher. At just 23 years of age, Danny became one of the youngest resident DJs at The Syndicate Superclub in Blackpool (The UK’s Biggest Club) and also had a very successful residency for the world renowned Ministry of Sound & Hed Kandi based in Egypt earlier in 2011. Danny Howard has hit the ground running after his phenomenal achievement at Radio 1, he’s in the studio with some of the industry’s most talented producers, gigs lined up from coast to coast, demand for residencies coming in thick and fast and with his future yet unscripted things are rapidly on the up for Danny and his rise to stardom is motoring at an unprecedented speed. Eddie said: ‘Gatecrasher was one of my first ever residencies so it’s always special to come back! It’s also quite close to home, so they’ll be a big team of friends and lots of familiar faces that I am looking forward to seeing.’ This Gatecrasher performance will see Eddie raise the benchmark with his production as he combines his technical wizardry with a full stage show that includes customised special effects and visual production set within the stunning Gatecrasher auditorium. His continued success has seen his radio show Fire It Up gather a global following of 10 million listeners, all religiously devoted to his fresh tunes and impeccable mixing capabilities. EDDIE HALLIWELL may be the youngest talent among this list of dance music greats, but this bears no hold on his technical proficiency and awe inspiring stage presence. No other DJ reads and connects with the crowd as Eddie does, no other DJ can bring a room alive like Eddie and no other DJ comes anywhere near. Pioneer of dance music, Judge Jules gave his opinion on why Eddie IS the greatest DJ of all time: “Eddie looks in to people’s eyes and he performs. Incredible stage performance, incredible skills, and an almost telepathic ability to read a crowd – Eddie’s got everything.” Adding some Toolroom magic is KIM FAI. Bursting out of Birmingham's club scene a few years ago he instantly seized the attention of the powerhouses Mark Knight, Swedish House Mafia, and Funkagenda. Completing the line-up is Manchester Promoter turned mysterious big-room boomer KRYDER who recently supported Halliwell on his Fire It Up tour. Behind the visor, Kryder (still as mysterious as he is anonymous) is the producer to look out for in 2012, with his dwarf sidekick - the classically-trained Dokta Kaotika - and a circus freakshow entourage. He supported Tiësto at Privilege this summer , his ‘K2’ record was signed to the Dutchman’s label and he’s getting props from R1 and Mixmag on a regular basis. Kryder has a deep, underground edge: progressive house overlaid with trance chords and atmosphere; his tracks like dark, magical postcards sent out across the world. Remixes have covered artists including Tinchy Stryder to Bryan Adams and Loverush UK, to Australian band Pnau, with the Kryder remix of their Solid Ground track receiving serious support on Radio 1.
