  1. the vestax pcv iv heard shit hot reviews about, when i got my pioneer djm 600, i was toying with getting that and saving a few £££'s as with all vestax mixers the sound is great.
  2. its a sacrifice you can take
  3. dont know, was never keen on it, and not used it for while.
  4. it is a good tune, iv got the tune and played it in a few mixes, but not a tune i guess id play at 12 to bring the new year in.......
  5. nice mixes with nice tracklists, looking forward to listening to some of these
  6. im selling my native instruments Traktor scratch pro setup. iv listed it on ebay, but if anybody is interested on the board, im sure we can come to some arrangement. all details and info is here:- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=290387223842&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:GB:1123#ht_8945wt_1084 ian
  7. i seen jules at syndicate, blackpool, he opened his set after the countdown at 12 with la roux - in for the kill (tristan d & blackrussion remix) probably not the best track to start a set at 12 with, but good night all along.

    Logic 9

have you checked out sander van doors studio sessions there handy and he uses logic http://www.sandervandoorn.com/#studiosessions think you gotta register on the site to get some of the later videos or get them free on youtube http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=sander+van+doorn+studio+sessions&search_type=&aq=1&oq=sander+van+doorn+stud also searched on youtube for logic 9 tutuorial and found this, go through all the stuff to get a basic overview. tbh that guy who published them videos has looooads of useful videos on logic 9, well worth a look and worth a look at the authors page on youtube. http://www.youtube.com/user/imamusicmogul

    Xpressbeats

there all closing down nowdays, as for cd pool, iv never seen them offering good stuff, its usually commercial stuff, so iv never bothered signing up
  10. i thought years ago he was pre-dominantly a house dj before the trance scene?? tbh he defines his sound nowdays as trance with funky overtones, me personally i class it as more tech trance. he did used to play some blinding techno though i.e mauro picotto - baguette, such a tune!!!
  11. besides which music genres re-invent themselves, and also if you listen to quite a few dance tracks they take influences from different genres.
  12. pink floyd - dark side of the moon album above & beyond - tri-state album, imo one of the best dance artist albums about Layer cake - soundtrack anjubabeats albums prob too many to list
  13. the J Majik & Wickaman Remix i actually like. and its good to break things up and try different genres. 3 hours of just pure trance would get a bit boring imo, but a set ranging from prog, through to tech trance, through a bit of dnb then to peaktime stuff would be interesting.
  14. he's dropping more dnb style mixes, nothing too heavy though.
  15. id like to say england, but realistically that aint prob gonna happen, i voted for spain. i think england may get to a decent round this year, semi's probably.
  16. damn i cant get on it at work........ i wanna see fearnes back too

    iPhone

theres no way in this world you could reach the limit of 750mb just off tanning the 3g and using internet all day long iv got the iphone and use it regularly checking emails all day, using net, and dont exceed more than 200mb a month
  18. iv downloaded it but not listened to it yet looks good just from the tracklist though

    iPhone

i think orange has a 750mb data allowance, i dont think 02 does. however im constantly checking my emails, facebook all day, and use msn on my iphone, and occasionally update apps via 3g, used maps in london alot, and im lucky if i use more than 100mb of data a month. what you got to look at is the majority of apps are designed to use a minimal amount of over the air 3g data or over the air data. even if you use radio streaming apps (which i do) you would struggle to use 750mb of data a month. also im on o2, but every major city or town will have access to a free wifi hotspot (o2 provide theres via the cloud & BT openzone, not sure about orange) id say you needn't worry about getting this data free, its gonna b hard to use that ammount by the points raised above.
  20. haha some different ideas, but been in london for weekend, not had chance to reply
  21. god id never be allowed to dj anywhere with references to crack and e
  22. Hi People im thinking about changing my dj name and have been thinking about this for a while. the main reason to this is i dont think Ian K sounds great and im a bit bored of it. My full name Is Ian Kraweckyj - Hence why i went for Ian K, as nobody can proncounce or spell Kraweckyj. I Know of DJs that use a similar sounding name, For example Jon O'bir isnt called Jon O'Bir, his real name is Neil ribbons or something alike. So Anybody got any ideas of a name i can use, and im trying to keep it normal sounding like jon o'bir and not something like dj xxxxxxx cheers
  23. or just pressed stop, or unplugged it
  24. certainly not a major reason to walk off a gig, even if it is in the contract.
