    Aza, l downloaded this mix and now l can't find it! I tried to download it again and the link isn't working , takes you to a different site, like before. Perhaps you could take a look, cheers in advance. Update; l have found it and am now listening to it. However anyone trying to download it can't!

    I listen to Jules's R1 show religiously each week so l'm gutted it is all coming to an end, l do like most of the tunes he plays and will also miss his cheerful voice. Jules will still be doing Judgement Sundays in Ibiza and instead of being on Radio 1 he will concentrate on his "Global Warm Up" podcasts which are very good (IMO). I also noticed that during his podcasts he throws in a few one-liners so thankfully its not the end for Jules more a case of a new beginning

    Thanks Burien, really appreciate you doing the t/l, still haven't heard from Jules, will let him off as its Xmas (lol) :thumbsup: Update. Heard back from Jules, he told me; "Tristan has the Dec tracklisting, and he's gone to the US for an operation, therefore can't disturb him at the moment"

    I realise you haven't finished it yet but thanks for what you've done so far. l have emailed Jules for t/l but as yet haven't heard back from him! If l get time l'll listen to it again.

    Jules's December Mix has been on his JJnet website for a few days now and was wondering if any one one here has listened to it. There are a few tunes on there l haven't heard before, in my opinion its not a bad mix at all :thumbsup:

    Thanks for sharing Jules's email with us, it answers a lot of questions. Its amazing how Jules found the time to re-train, you have to take your hat of to him :thumbsup:

    Yes, well said Briggsy :thumbsup: . Unlike some of you on here l still enjoy going to his gigs as you never know what to expect (what tunes he will play) and to be honest l have always liked the fact that he plays various genres, so for me l never find him boring. Admittedly his sets don't always flow like they use to but when l go out l'm there to enjoy myself so if he makes a few mistakes it doesn't spoil the night for me. I listen to his show every week and will miss his cheerful voice and the music. At least for now he says he will continue to dj but once he gets stuck into his new job he will probably have no choice but to cut back. I'm planning on going to see him @ Slinky, Bournemouth on 4th February and hopefully he will continue to play @ MOS after he has left R1 in April I guess we will just have to wait and see, l don't suppose he knows himself how it will all pan out. Big respect to Jules, he's a great presenter and a genuinely nice guy so hopefully he will make a success of his new career and also continue to do a few gigs for as long as he wants. All that travelling can't be good for him so from a health point of view leaving R1 and doing less gigs might be for the best.

    Jules mix of "Gladiator" - Homelands 2001 View File One of Jules's mixes of "Gladiator" played live during his set @ Homelands on Sat 26th May 2001. This was never released. In Jules's words: "It was produced initially with the support of the filmscore composer. I was given access to the multi-track and created the tune you've heard. Unfortunately the composer decided at the last minute that he didn't want to give permission, so I was unable to release it.     I also heard this one yesterday "Cracking like the whip of a dominatrix, 97-99 Fm radio 1 in the mix" as l was listening to an old tape 26.11.99 and one from July 1999 Also heard "Banging like a headboard" I also heard a "shout out" for Cheese on this tape, can't believe it was almost 12 years ago! One of the JJA members managed to play these 2 tapes on a "live" link up somewhere on the internet and l managed to record the tunes as he played them and he talks about them too (at the end of 26.11.99) I have a feeling it was either Third Drive, Tremor or Simcut but can't be sure.

    Ha-ha, it does look a bit odd, doesn't look real. I saw Claudia @ The Arches in Glasgow (a few weeks ago), Jules and Richard Durand were also playing. All three played good sets and on this occasion Claudia was wearing something less revealing!!
