Wakey
Well, I feel like I've had a bit of a non-stop week, probably explains why I've slept so much this weekend. But on Wednesday night we had our Livewire (The university's radio station) elections. The process took around two hours and all new positions were elected. I was up against 3 other people for Head of Specialist Programming. I had to give a 5-10 minute speech about what I'd do if I got it etc and then it was put to the vote. and I managed to get the position! so I'm very happy with that. It means I'll be in charge of the shows between 18:00- Midnight and I'll have to choose the shows we want on the station and arrange the new schedule next year. I'm really looking forward to doing it and hopefully getting some of my new ideas involved.

Wakey
lol we'll see what comes in next year when we get people to record demos! We don't have that many dance shows really. Our main dance night is Wed when i'm on, a lad before me is sort of Dave Pearce style. Then I'm on (you've seen the tracklists ) and the lad after me plays a mixture of bootlegs etc.

Neuro
Superb Wakey. Try and sneak in an array of dance shows in, if you get a few people wanting to play some progressive, as well as pure house or trance, and that Dave Pearce guy keep him on (lol!), add some variety in the global effort to convert the masses

When I was at Bham Uni on Saturday night I snuck down to see Burn FM's studios, was interesting! Am trying to find my Student Radio Award programme, didn't Livewire win something?
