Max Kane
Anyone see this last night? Was thoroughly enjoyable with Huey from Fun Lovin Criminals as guest host & Jonny Marr (Smiths, The Healers) also guesting. Highlight was a clip of Mauro Picotto's perfromance of 'Komodo' from TOTP in 2001, dodgy dancers and Mauro looking about as enthusiastic as MIKE did during Strange World on the same show. Bjorn
hahaha, yeah man, i watched this - that guy from the crims is hilarious and he's gonna be at our mayball!!! Mauro pretending to mix....err...what exactly behind the decks,......!
Neuro
Reminded me of Jules pretending to be busy amid a forest of speakers and dubious studio equipment on TOTP during "Pitchin'" in 99.
Max Kane
It's awful really seeing DJs on TOTP, but i guess if it's an ambition then they're gona go for it. Would prefer just to have the video played personally.
JasonB
Some videos would be worse!
Max Kane
The video for Strange World wasn't that bad with that dude just riding his bike, Pitchin was ok with Jules just travelling to Crasher, Paul Masterson's pose in the car was hilarious though. The best one is probably Bullet In The Gun 2000 where Oakey is playin at one of the first Home nights. Tiesto's vid for Traffic was also pretty cool, if a little self indulgent. Max Kane
The vids for 'For An Angel' PvD at the love parade and 'Meet Her At The Love Parade' itself were ok as well, just basically showing clubbing. Cringe worthy videos would have to include 'Cafe del Mar' with that geezer leggin it all round Ibiza then turnin up in Cafe Del Mar and spinning the tune. Jurgen Vries' vid was terrible too tryin to have that litte video game. All of Ferry's have been dire apart from Out of the Blue which wasn't a bad effort
Bjorn
silence was interesting, a women tid to a bloke out-running him what a bout reflekt (not so old) but i think that well euphoric and trancey - sitting looking at a sunset, sums it all up really! Max Kane
Ye Reflekt's was quite cool, obviously it worked as a trailer to the film aswell, Silence was poor, but not the worst effort. PvD's latest videos have been a bit sh1t. Time of Our Lives & The Otherside dnt really have anythin in em to like or dislike.
