Quadrant
Got on really well with the Cut-Up Boys, had a very lengthy chat, and will keep in touch with them both. Really nice guys. Though their set was basically just a mixture of the 2 "Mash Up Mix" albums. Such a shame you got on with them because I'd have loved to slate them for their now hijacking nearly 75% of Jules' radio 1 slot time so the fact that they're decent people is a little disappointing. bigsteve
Glad things went well mate, especially if there were Slinky promoters down there, could lead to something for ya. Ditto - hope it leads somehwere for you

They have no contact with Jules at all... it's all done through his new producer - and Nick was saying he'd like me to say hi to Jules as he never gets the chance. They don't hi-jack 75% of his airtime, he has his producer to thank for the dodgy way his show now works. The Cut Up Boys merely take advantage of a promotional opportunity which has aided them no end. Good luck to them, I say! I think, given the show time Jules has, this isn't a bad way to start his show.
