whos_this_guy Posted May 8, 2006 Report Share Posted May 8, 2006 ok im thinking of gettin an amp an speakers. for bed room usages and moblie gigs. Just wondering wat woud be the ideal wattage. Seen a few good ones on ebay for around 350 quid for 600watts. and then how would i set up a booth speaker, would i have to buy another speaker and amp ect ect.... Max Kane Posted May 8, 2006 Report Share Posted May 8, 2006 Both speakers should work off of one amp, my old set up used to at least not sure about wattage never paid any attention to that, run all my stuff thru my midi system now using the mini disc attachments. bigsteve Posted May 9, 2006 Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 I use 2 seperate amps. The master goes to my hi-fi seperates and the booth goes to my pair of powered Numark speakers. whos_this_guy Posted May 9, 2006 Author Report Share Posted May 9, 2006 yea this is looking the only way. ive always had the problem when i do gigs that the music i hear is never oud enough for the dj but loud enough for the crowd. so may be a small cheal amp to run my "contorl ones' of and then bigger amp to run the 300watt speakers of...
