Wakey
Just finished two weeks work experience at Xfm Manchester, it was awesome. Got to do loads of tasks for them which included compiling shows, helping to record live sessions and interviews, creating id's & sweepers, and doing a lot of sound editing. I went through shows taking bits out to be used for promos etc. Had a really good time and picked up a lot of help and tips for when I take up my head of speicalist position at my uni radio station next year. Also got to meet some really cool people and bands (not sure if you've heard of any) including - Jamie T, Crosbi, The Young Knives, Captain, Larrikin Love. Some of the presenters also include - Andy Rourke (Smiths Bass player), Dave Haslam (Hacienda DJ), Paul Tonkinson (Comedian & former Big Breakfast presenter) & Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets). So it was good to get chatting with all these people to gain some knowledge on the music scene and radio. All in all a wicked two weeks, I think I've decided what sort of career I'm going to try and get lol!

Wakey
where is Olu Deniz ? haha, yeah the job does have a few perks, and there's generally plenty of drinking to be done along side the job! The place is just slightly north of marmaris.
