What an absolutely superb day/night the people that were there must have had. It looked amazing from the sofa and really enjoyed it throughout (except Velvet Revolver ) Highlights for me were Coldplay joining forces with Richard Ashcroft for 'Bitter Sweet Symphony,' Snow Patrol, Annie Lennox doing 'Sweetest Dreams,' an excellent set from Sting and Robbie doing 'Angels.' Watching Robbie sing Angels is surely becoming one of those 'must-do-before-you-die' things. The atmosphere just looks immense. I can only hope the message gets home to those 8 bods sat around their rather expensive table this week. If not, we'll all be back here again in 20 years...and this effort will have been for nothing. I went out friday night had 3 hours sleep then did delivering for royal mail saturday morning! It's all coming out on DVD yay!! anyhows. Madonna was fantastic and she surely has got it in her and The Killers were brill! I think everyon who pretty much player there did a grand job! Watched most of it on the tele too. I think all the DJ's in the world should do something like that. Imagine that for world aid.... Everyone DJ in the top 100 in the world playing at a venue.....
