Briggsy
A mate from another forum asked me to do a mix to stick on his Ipod to listen to when he flies off to Thailand this week, so i've finally got my arse in gear and done my first and last recorded mix for this year. I thought you guys might appreciate it too with it being slightly Judge Jules stylee in parts (certainly from the middle onwards anyway). Not the best mixing i'm afraid mate - i've been a bit crap for a few months now, so there's a few ropey mixes in there. There's also some nice silky smooth mixes in there too though - its odd how that happens :? Anyway, the link is http://carlbriggs.ttamixhosting.co.uk/ThaiSurprise.mp3 It starts off Trancey, goes a bit Techy in the middle, before finishing with a couple of Techno classics Here's the tracklist: Marco V - Any, Better, Or? (Vocal Mix) [Maelstrom] Sean Tyas - Lift (Original Mix) [Discover] O' Callaghan & Kearney - Exactly (Original Mix) [Discover] Kuffdam & Plant feat Terry Ferminal - The Ones We Used To Love (Original Mix) [Vandit] 4 Strings - Mainline (4 Turntables Mix) [Liquid Recordings] Arctic Monkeys - Sun Goes Down (Sander Van Doorn Bootleg) [White Label] Mark Norman - Brasillia (Original Mix) [Magik Muzik] Alex Morph & Rank 1 - Life Less Ordinary (Original Mix) [MOS Germany] Guiseppe Ottaviani & Marc Van Linden - Until Monday (Mac & Mac Remix) [Monster Tunes] 4 Strings - Take Me Away (Into The Night) (Mac Zimms Remix) [Liquid Recordings] Marcel Woods - Monotone (Original Mix) [High Contrast] Dark Alliance - Genetic (Original Mix) [Alphabet City] Fred Baker & Greg Nash - Lunar Eclipse (Original Mix) [2Play] DJ Elite - That Fuct Camera (Original Mix) [White Label] DJ Dan - Needle Damage (DJ Elite Remix) [Duty Free Recordings] Enjoy! Yeh mate, got a fair amount of tunage to check out, you can listen to them while you polish the large amounts of dust at your home, accumulated whilst you've been gone! TheSaint
mixing was fine - listened to 75% of it on the train on the way home last night and didnt once think about firing up the computer to write a firmly worded reply to you
Briggsy
Thanks mate! I'm glad you only listened to 75% of it - that was the part that was ok. Its the last 25% from Monotone onwards where it all went a bit dodgy
