Aza
My thoughts exactly... I denoted it 80min because that is the norm and is what I think, a special mix to be put on cd, Glen? Hence 80mins... you don't say 700Mb/1hr 20? 700Mb/80min 8-)
whos_this_guy
A load of ppl that download them burn them to cd, so i go for the 80 min aprox!
Aza
Theres 18 tracks there, Glen. Good stab, did you edit any of it? I can just about manage to squeeze 16 tracks in, but the norm is usually 13-15 with out editting.
Max Kane
18 Tracks in 80mins! Good effort My prog mixes of this length usually contain about 12 or so dependent on how long each track is, saying that I bet there aren't many 12minute epics in electro eh
whos_this_guy
well no no editing, just stright of the cuff! 81min to be percise. some choons have some real quick mixing and some really fired in as they are pretty repitave! progressive would be a far diffrent style, so the choon and mixing would differ. though i did pitch one choon rigth up and used the master tempo, ther is some mighty skipping or buffering going on
JasonB
It can be done! Ive done 26 in under 80 minutes for a laugh , was a alphabet mix, not perfect like but all in one go off the cuff vinyl only! so it can be done, quick cueing up and mixing! Aza
I love mixing quick - keeps your sets interesting and makes them seem quite clever. However, I dont thinki you an appreciation of the tunes though... Sometimes Eddie does this with his tunes e.g. his last Cream album, some corker tunes on there only 50secs!
KSheehan
if you did a mix of 81 mins it wouldnt fit on cd would it?? unless it was data??
