Set the alarm early this morning to get up and watch the 20/20 cricket match and while I was waiting for it to start, I noticed on the BBC website's commentary that Jules was DJ'ing on the field before the match as part of some sort of DJ battle. I watched Sky to see if I could spot him but I think i just missed it. You can see the comment in the commentary by scrolling down to 0816 almost at the bottom of the page at the following link:

I just seen a report on the match on Sky Sports News which features some footage of Jules plus a few words from him as well so keep an eye open for that as I guess that report will be running for the rest of the night.

Also did a wee search on Google as I have some spare time today and found the following links on it:

Awesome, Stuart. Checked out the links and sounds great :) Wonder if any footage was caught of it - might be on youtube here's hoping!

"The final dj’ing instalment was an Aussie/England dj clash on the pitch immediately before the 20/20 one day Aus-Eng cricket international at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Tue January 9th. It was myself versus Melbourne-based Grant Smillie, who produces under the name TV Rock, amongst other pseudonyms. Both of us had created special mash ups featuring current dance tunes and national themes- I produced a version of the National Anthem incorporating electro breaks and bass. It’s hard to explain, but it worked. We rehearsed our short set in an empty S.C.G. before performing in front of nearly 35,000 cricket fans immediately before the match kicked off at 7.30pm. The ‘Barmy Army’ England supporters made plenty of noise supporting me, and afterwards we went to a private box provided by Cricket Australia and watched more of the match, as England’s poor form continued."

Just in case anyone was too lazy to sift thru it all

Clearly not a cricket fan then

He actually goes to great lengths to say how little he knows about cricket in the piece somewhere, I also thought that Nasser Hussain giving Amanda a cheeky wink was a highlight

nice one tom - great to see he went to the effort of producing his own material. That is quality and shows enthuiasm :)
