JasonB
Don't rate it at all along with samab showdown which is again pointless. The final mix was great once again though.

Briggsy
i'm amazed that jules still plays Starparty! It is goo though... Yeah, Jules's classics are a bit predictable. Out of the thousands of tunes he's got, I wish he'd branch out further than his usual options of Green Martian - Industry, Lost Witness - Happiness Happening (a heavily edited version which sounds poor), Kristine Blond - Love Shy, Ralph Fridge - Angel, Warrior - Warrior, and Starparty - I'm In Love
Ducky
Exactly what i was thinking briggsy, was scanning through my vinyl the other day and was thinking "that would sound wicked if he played it now" as i went through loads of old Julesage! lol

Yeah both tunes are just the originals with very tiny additions - mind you it was good to hear Alloy Mental on J's show in some form!

Bootlegs should be made as simple as possible, putting too much justs drowns everythin out!

Briggsy
This is really growing on me too!! Made by a mate of mine from Scotland! Yeah, a lot of people on here got their knickers in a twist last week and thought this was that reworked version of Abel Ramos vs Josh Wink - Electro State (K-System Bootleg). As far as i'm aware, Radio 1 missed the title of that reworked Electro State from their tracklisting last week - so though that Samba Showdown was that instead. Tremor
That abel ramos rework is called Samba 69 is it not? In any case I'm not a fan of either. Thing is Samba showdown is a good track, but only cos its basically just the original of florian f - sureal brazil, which happens to be a huge favourite of mine. Hearing that tune is always a winner for me but its a bit annoying that this bootleg gives no credit to the original in its title... its a blatant rip off.. may as well just play the original. Its also a bit annoying as I still play sureal brazil from time to time in a set, much like jules will dig out the odd classic, but with this tune being a less obvious track. But now it wont hold the same apeal as the new bootleg is getting played alot.

Tremor
I didnt catch that samba 69 choon, is it just electro state or wats different?? Its identical in structure and the drum beats remain the same. The bassline has been slightly altered (pretty much re-ordered notes) and in a similar way the higher state sample is altered... so that its slightly different to higher state presumably. Its kinda like Fabio stein's - Tran 4 and the bootleg which followed and was identical in structure but the tune was slightly changed... Fabio Stein vs Nightvision - Believe In
