Yes Messi is Argentinian. They've got some amazing players in that team and thats shown by their No.2 world ranking. Messi, Mascherano, Tevez, Ayala, Saviola, Heinze et al. Wow. There are quite a few young players, which is an scary thought for the future... Of course Giggs's goal was superior but being a Red I'm gonna say that!! They were also the fans who knocked the Sevilla coach unconscious with a bottle during the Betis vs Sevilla derby last month. I reckon they might get relegated from La Liga this season... As for Messi's goal, Spanish newspapers were all over it - even "Marca", the daily Spanish football paper (apparently the most "read" newspaper in all of Spain) devoted more than 3 pages to it, which is surprising as it's very heavily Madrid-biased!
