Joining resident host Tom Bailey for September’s show we have Alter Ego Records chiefs Matt Abbott & Chris Chambers. Matt & Chris met back in 2004 going on to form the exceptional record label Alter Ego Records soon after. Soon the label had established itself as one of the premier trance & progressive outlets for hot new talent. Soon after sub labels Alter Ego Pure, Alter Ego Digital & Alter Ego Progressive were born to enable the guys to present a wide range of their favourite music to the world. The label continues to go from strength to strength with a roster reading as something of a who’s who of the current crop of talented producers. As well as heading up the label Matt & Chris both have flourishing production careers in their own right with huge releases such as ‘Never After’ & remixes for the likes of Captured, Monster & Inov8 records lined up. As a DJ duo Matt & Chris present the hugely successful Alter Ego shows which air across the Internet. The show comes in two guises with Alter Ego Trance & Alter Ego Progressive allowing the guys to give each show a unique focus and spirit. For their guest mix, taking place in hour number two of this month’s show, expect the duo to provide a melodic blend of progressive tracks synonymous with their progressive shows. Taking care of the opening hour will be resident host Tom Bailey. Tom has been in charge of the show since it’s inception and with each month the young West Midlands based DJ has showcased some of his favourite progressive trance in his own inimitable way. With 2007 proving something of a breakthrough year with dates across the UK Tom is an essential asset to the show. Appearing at nights in London, Birmingham, Bristol & the North-East on a regular basis & playing alongside such luminaries as Mr Sam, Super8 & Tab, Niklas Harding, Andrew Bennett, Jonas Steur, Leon Bolier, & Re:Locate Tom is forging his own strong identity within the UK scene. Tom’s mix this month will serve as something of a warm-up for the Alter Ego guys in hour two, taking in some deeper tracks while maintaining the energy all of Tom’s sets contain. As usual Tom will present his ‘Tune Of The Month’ and will also dedicate time to presenting some of the hottest new tracks currently residing in his record bag. The show is broadcast each & every first Sunday of every month from 7-9pm (UK) 8-10pm (CET) & 2-4pm (US Eastern).
