Marty Mayes Posted September 6, 2007 Report Posted September 6, 2007 Cancer claim's yet another victim rip
Neuro Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Although not a great actor on the Opera circuit, who cares when you have a voice like that! Unrivalled in terms of a tenor voice... by far the hardest register in which to sing and yet nobody has ever made it look so effortless.
Bjorn Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 i loved how he said, 'god touches everyone in one way or another...in my case, god has touched my vocal chords'
Quadrant Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 Although God certainly left his waistline to do its own stuff, didn't He!
Uberduck Posted September 7, 2007 Report Posted September 7, 2007 His waistline was because of all those Cornetto's he got free for singing on the advert (It was Pavarotti wasn't it?)!!
Briggsy Posted September 10, 2007 Report Posted September 10, 2007 71 was a good age considering the size of his gut. I always thought he was a lot younger than he was and would die at a young age due to a heart attack. A legend though and loved throughout the world (which is very rare these days for anyone) - RIP Pavarotti.
