Chrissie Brown
yeh its the vocals of Candy Staton - You've Got The Love with Twilight, works brilliantly IMO!! I think it sounds dreadful. However he did play some good tunes, Mikka Leonien "Washed away by Rain", Hybrid "Finished Symphony" [Deadmau5 mix] Joop "On Top of Things" , also really like K Sheeham "Kill An OX". Briggsy
Really not liking these Nick Callaghan bootlegs at all. I'm afraid he's responsible for the majority of most of these gash bootlegs that Jules is playing.
Moonman
Really not liking these Nick Callaghan bootlegs at all. I'm afraid he's responsible for the majority of most of these gash bootlegs that Jules is playing. fully agree. I havent liked all but one of his bootlegs either i'm afraid. This Twilight one just doesnt work. The beauty of the original "Twilight" track was the fact it was quite hypnotic. The vocal just destroys the whole point of it IMO. Briggsy
fully agree. I havent liked all but one of his bootlegs either i'm afraid. This Twilight one just doesnt work. The beauty of the original "Twilight" track was the fact it was quite hypnotic. The vocal just destroys the whole point of it IMO. The only bootleg i've liked of his was the Fred Baker & Youri Parker - Bang bootleg he did. The rest have been dire. That vocal doesn't suit Twilight at all, and the other recent one he did that Jules played featuring Mojado - Kaktus was shocking too - it was very random with far too much going on. I get the impression that Nick Callaghan just makes bootlegs for the sake of making bootlegs just to get his name out there, and very little imagination goes into them. They're not very creative - they're just random tunes slapper together, or a bog standard accapella played over another tune. Not very creative really.
