Mikey*J Posted August 26, 2005 Report Posted August 26, 2005 i mean other djs as well as jules. id have to say van dyk at amnesia last year. played really hard and so relentless! he was on after tiesto and proved that he is much better
Neuro Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Have always enjoyed PvD, a pretty consistent DJ I think.
Bjorn Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 thats such a tough question mate!! gotta be a toss up between Above & Beyond at Global this year, or Simon Patterson at progress in derby...........too close to call!! both were so neat , but the tune selection was out of this world!
JasonB Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 Greg Downey early last year, stunning stuff breaks, trance harder stuff techno some hard house wicked two hours.
whos_this_guy Posted September 2, 2005 Report Posted September 2, 2005 cant really narrow it down to one. but i have ahd many great nights in lush when jules has been on. prob the time it was on radio 1. saw eric prydz, played nice we set, droped teaser which made me go buck mad!
Graham_64 Posted September 3, 2005 Report Posted September 3, 2005 theres one has always stood out for me, matt hardwick at promise sept 2001. was the friday after the 9/11 attacks, and Paul Van Dyk was booked to play but cancelled as he had friends in new york at the time of the attacks. Matt was resident at the time and played a 5 hour set, he played for free and all proceeds from the night went to the 9/11 fund. Matt was totally unbelieveable, and the atmoshere in the club that night was better than any ive ever experienced!!!! Probably my best ever night out anywhere ever, and definitely the most ive ever enjoyed a set
