Moonman
liking this at the moment, theres loads of good tracks floating around. Speed Garage from back in '97 was what originally got me into dance music/djing, so its great to hear this sound again. Anyway, i'm going to stick my neck out and say, "Bassline" or Speed Garage as itt was known will be the sound of this summer. Electro House has had the lions share for long enough now, time for something different, with a bit of a groove.
Wakey
Yeah I do agree, it's quite nice to hear some tunes coming round again! It's funny how different genres seem to come and go with popularity!
Briggsy
Bring back Funky House too. Electro-House is tedious now.

Max Kane
Was never a speed garage fan, hate to say it but I don't see the attraction whatsoever.
Judge Mental
I absolutley detest it, especially that irritating bassline and daft vocals. Argh, can't stand it whatsoever.

Uberduck
Another Marmite topic by the looks of it!! I used to like quite a few garage/speed garage tracks from the late nineties but am not overly hot on it anymore. I heard an advert for it the other day on TV and thought about posting something but you've beaten me to it.
Moonman
we went to a few bars in Brum the other week and they were playing of this bassline stuff. I have to say, i really really like it. I like the bass, the temp and the vocals over the top. It's nice to have some err, bottom heavy groove. Robin
its hot - urban based music and rock always comes before electronica in terms of trends.. b'line just means that trance will again become popular in about 4-5 years at most.
JasonB
The main rhing that turns me off is that bass line is too bloodey fast!
