DJ Loses new album...

Reported on the news today, Calvin Harris has apparently lost the only copy of his new album after the bag with his laptop has gone missing in the T5 baggage problems.

Two things... Why would you check a laptop into the hold of a plane? Hand luggage surely?

Why would you only have ONE copy of a new album? Surely you'd have a backup???

Read this on the GK board, if it's true that serves the w*nker right, cannot stand Calvin Harris.

However two other theories have been touted which I believe are much more likely to be true.

1 - Timely publicity in the anticipation of a new release, cleverly linked to a topical & news worthy story.

2 - Harris has been on a year long bender since he hit it big with first album & has constantly told record company he's working away while secretly having it large on their time. Sees perfect opportunity to cover said time wasting with topical excuse.

Aye, read that earlier, no one would be that stupid surely.

Plus the fact that it also says he doesn't use his laptop for gigs??

And also,

More than 400 volunteer staff have been working to deal with the situation
For BA?!

Doesn't add up in the slightest, sounds like he's giving Max Clifford the advanced payment for his new album, £750 compensation? f*** off! :D

I would have thought the artist in question (who I've never heard of, by the way) has simply taken advantage of the T5 problems to launch a publicity stunt, and good luck to him too, because it's already worked!

Why did you go see him twice if you hate him so much? :D :D

I agree though, he's absolutley s***.

You folk that don't think you've heard him, I bet you a million quid you've heard this garbage if you've listened to radio 1 in the last year.

I seriously hope its not a stunt, its absolute chart fodder. I wouldnt just steal his laptop, Id make sure I smashed it over his head hard enough to make sure he was dead. You don't get all the girls with that s***, maybe if you stopped making music you might. t****r :D

That crap wasnt even "acceptable in the 80's"

Have you really not heard of him music Tim? He did Acceptable in the 80's and The Girls, both commercial dance tunes, done a few remixes too. He was all over the festival scene last year.
