Dont get me wrong, he's a talented guy and i absolutely loved (and played out) "Wavelength", "Blindside" and the Swen Weber "Bassman" remix he did - i thought "Engaged" was good too. But this, i felt Paul could have taken this through the roof, but i feel it just doesnt get going or hit the euphoric high of the Taucher mix. Maybe i'm missing the point of his particular remix. It doesnt seem to know whether it wants to be a techy stomper or an uplifiting banger, thus misses the point on both fronts. Sorry, Paul if you are reading this. Its a classic, and we're wanting it to be as good as the original from back in the day. To be honest, its a track that should have been left alone. I've always thought that if a classic can't be beaten, it should be left well alone - and thats the case with this tune. I think there's only two classic remixes that have bettered the originals over recent years - and that was Durand's remix of Lethal Industry, and Cosmix Gate's remix of Fly Away.
