Aza Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 For me its gotta be the BBC. Fantastic, descriptive, easy to navigate and most importantly regularly updated. You can find any kind of info you are after there!
Neuro Posted September 12, 2005 Report Posted September 12, 2005 Absolutely, it has everything you could want somewhere in its site. A true archive of information... well designed, balanced, and informative. It is respected across the world for its impartiality and tradition and can be read in any language, making it accessible to just about anybody. What I like it the breadth of information, from international to local news, and all the sport too, however small. Despite shamefully not bidding for the rights they were updating their cricket news every over throughout the whole summer of Cricket... This goes for all their pages, they are always fresh. Even the darts page, unbelievably: http://www.bbc.co.uk/darts
Aza Posted September 13, 2005 Author Report Posted September 13, 2005 Must be a huge workforce behind that site to update it v.v.regularly (especially when the footy is on aswell, there are live updates). Wouldn't mind a job there when I graduate
Aza Posted September 19, 2005 Author Report Posted September 19, 2005 I forgot to add to this... Along with the BBC's fantastic site, I think eBay has now become one of the most popular and developed a great web site system. The layout is extremely user friendly and all in all a cracking site!
