Aside from a few excellent bands pushing things forward there is so much crap & it is depressing. This time 3 years ago I was going to gigs weekly if not more frequently as there was so much good music out there & I was excited about guitar music again. This year has been excpetionally average. I can't name half a dozen bands currently touring that I would happily go & see. I have high hopes for the new Dirty Pretty Things album (even if the new single is rubbish) & hope that some new & exciting bands begin to appear again soon
