CDJshop keepadding a quid postage so I say sod em I buy my mp3's elsewheere!

So far they've not done that for me, though I have heard about it a lot lately, seems strange. I was pretty anti-cdjshop for a while but lately they're getting it sorted out & I've used them a lot more, probably due to audiojelly's sneaky price rise

On a side note with the Jaytech release has anyone else felt well & truly let down by the Oli Smith remixes? I usually really like most of Oli's production work but the two remixes of Groove Nova are both awful

The Deep mix is spot on teh tech is average.

This is why already Ive been moaning on anjuna forums about him remixing like 4or 5 tracks so quickly, they seem to stick to mostly anjuna artists for remixes and its all getting rather stale

Don't know about you mate but I'm really looking forward to the new Johan Vermeulen & Michael Cassette releases, when they eventually roll around

I find the whole Anjuna outfit quite stale and boring. If you've heard one tune on that label, you've heard them all. Not a fan of that label at all - or Above & Beyond for that matter.

I have to agree with Briggsy. They pop out the odd good release (that sounds quite sexy!) but apart from that, i couldnt really care for them - is that a bad thing to say!?!

Yeah, they do the odd one or two good releases - but even they have the same kind of sound. Its all airy-fairy stuff which I don't feel fits into the current scene. Its all fairy floaty girly stuff which is too pacey and melodic for a warm-up set, but not gusty enough for a peak time set. It all just sound 3 years out of date now. Most melodic stuff now has gone down the Discover/John O'Callaghan/Sophie Sugar style sounding route.

I do find their vocal tunes too girly too.

Out of the million and one Trance labels out there, Anjunabeats is the only one I don't have alot of time for. I only own about 4 tunes on the Anjunabeats label, and three of those were for remixes which were a bit 'tougher' (ie, Black Is The Colour)

I have to strongly disagree with that sentiment, Anjuna is easily one of the finest record labels going & though they don't really cater for the tech side of trance (hence why you probably don't like them Briggs) their releases are usually of the highest quality.

Anjuna Deep is magnificent & without a hint of 'airy-fairy' or any other such jibes. My only gripe with anjuna has & always will be their release schedule, it's abhorent

I like most styles across the whole Trance genre - in fact, decent melodic Trance is still my favourite, although there's not so much of it around these days with any balls to it.

I just find Anjunabeats and A&B very boring. I find every release sounds pretty similar, their vocalists usually sound quite nasty, and I find the sound a bit dated. Their DJ sets are mind-numbingly boring. The whole sound for 90 minutes is tedious :(

Each to their own I guess, but they're one of the very few artists i've never got into. There are some DJ's that I've sene have better sets than others, but i've never been impressed with an A&B set.

I've bought every single anjunadeep release which says summat about the label!

Yeah its obviously a very strong label - its one of the most successful around in the Trance world. Its just my personal opinion of it - it doesn't grab me at all. Its a very distinctive sounding label - there aren't any more like it, and because of that, I feel its a bit 'on its own' in the Trance world and doesn't fit in with the current sound.
